I normally love some Popeyes but wasn't a fan of this location. Not enough honey or butter in the world to make up for the dry chalky biscuits. Even the sauce couldn't cover up the overcooked rubbery chicken. Lastly paying for an 8 piece to get 6.5 pieces(if generous call it 7) is just annoying. Since it was close to closing maybe the food wasn't its freshest, I really don't know. I may give the location another try a different time of day but I'm not in a rush.
Chicken was trash. I ordered spicy but I’m pretty sure it was regular. No napkins or jelly.Apple pie was good other than that my money will NEVER be spent here again.
BEWARE: this location has given me severe food poisoning twice in the last 3 months. I will not visit this location unless MD county health inspection has approved their sanitation procedures. I am reporting this location and it's issues to the MD county health dept.I think it was from the 3 piece combo I got - spicy dark meat. I shared the cole slaw and the new chicken sandwich with others and they did not get sick. Another possibility I suppose is their soda dispenser, specifically Dr. Pepper. IDK, but if you have had any issues, maybe post and notify the county also.
Pros: Food is good, store is quite cleanCons: Very slow service, and more often than not there will be problems with your order (missing items or just wrong, remember to check your orders before you walk away from the counter!)I normally enjoy Popeyes, but this location leaves me disappointed most of the time.

Ridiculously slow. Ordered twice on ubereats. Each time it took them at least 40min to prepare and wrap up the order (combo meal for one person). Really wanted to love this store.
Kentlands location is the worst!!!! Several times I ordered ahead via app. I get there 15-20 minutes later and I consistently have to wait up to 30 minutes more. The problem is it's run by employees that don't really give a d... Last visit, it took 50 minutes from the time I ordered!!! How is that possible for a Popeyes??? Do they f'n slaughter the chicken and and cook it for each order? Needs new management desperately.
Worst Popeyes ever! I've been living in the area for a year now and my experience with this establishment hasn't improved. The chicken is dry and over cooked, the red beans and rice are watery and flavorless. Every time I come to try something else I'm disappointed. A real shame..
This is the third time that I’ve come here and had a horrible experience.2 people behind the counter on the only one in line they have walked past me several times I’ve been waiting without so much as a greeting for a seven minutes. The managers name is Melanie and one of the employees asked her if she could wait on me and apparently she could not be bothered. Until I asked her name and then she finally came to the counter and started waiting on other people. If that’s how the manager wants this place I can’t even blame the employees for acting the way that they do
Had to try the fish sandwich. Taste Great. Have to make sure not to wreck the diet! Good price clean space. Staff are very friendly.
