Charming old world looking Panera with clean dining room, good food, and fast service.
I went here last night and I got to say for the price I paid I do not mind at all. I only gave three stars because the way of your placing the line was not sufficient and very confusing. The guy who was ahead of my family and I was trying to buy a french baguette. He was waiting for a while to purchase. To the point he put it back and walked out. Then the worker said if you paying for that bread he would have to pay at the counter. The staff member he asked was busy filling smoothie orders. Then while I was eating my food I noticed that the same guy who was making smoothies started taking orders again. There was no sense of direction to the line. I would hope this Panera would have line strap or placard for people to know where to pay or order. They also did not have kisok.
Been a regular customer of Panera for over a decade. They’ve left sandwiches out of takeout orders two out of the last three times. Go somewhere else.
Many times I’ve done a pick up rapid order and not received all my food. I don’t notice until after I get home and go through the big bag. I don’t want to drive all the way across town to ask them about the missing baguettes and so now I have sad kids because the baguettes are their favorite and the entire reason for ordering in the first place. I know I should remove everything from the bag and check before I leave, but I also think I should trust them that my food is all included, especially when it is checked off on the ticket on the side of the bag. It was a waste of money today and since this has happened a few times at this location, I felt it was time for a review. (My Strawberry Poppyseed Salad also came without strawberries today. But at least I had a salad in the bag).
I had the 7 Vegetable soup. It's definitely not better than the broccoli cheese soup. The bread is soooo good for me. I'm not a bread lover but I do love this bread!!!!
The food was bad very dry. There was a big puddle of water on the floor by the drinks no wet sign. It seemed like no effort was put on preparing the food. Over all very dirty on a Friday night.
I've been going to Panera a lot of times this year! I never had a problem or complaint until one day. I can't stand a specific herb (cilantro) in my food. It's the strong smell and taste that make me throw up. So, I requested to not add it to my food at the cash register. Long story short, they did it anyway. I politely asked to remove the cilantro leaves from my plate. They've said, the plate contains a small amount of cilantro mixed with rice. I said it was fine, as long as I don't see, taste, or smell a strong smell of cilantro. They re-made it - wasn't that bad. The next day I went there, I got a sandwich I usually get. Instead of the original herb (basil) they usually put on that sandwich, they've put cilantro leaves. What kind of joke is this? Is that what Panera Bread employees do, mock me and my food choices? Unfortunately, I didn't have time to check. Panera had lost a loyal customer, never going back there again.
I ordered the green passion smoothie form this location earlier today. I’ve ordered this same smoothie so many times from different Panera locations but this is my first time ordering at this location. The smoothie was just crushed ice cubes and I can see the green leaves (which I didn’t mind too much). But the crushed ice instead of the smooth texture (aka smoothie) made it so hard to zip from the straw and took away from the taste of the once delicious smoothie.
Grabbing a quick bite to eat or coffee at Panera here has typically been a pretty easy experience overall. Sometimes they're a bit backed up and busy but they're always happy to help if there isn't an order ready just by talking to someone behind the counter.
Got the family meal, consisting of 2 sandwiches, a quart of soup and a family size salad. Also included 4 cookies. It was also supposed to come with baguette which was left out. The food is good and service fast. It was supposed to have taken about 15 minutes, but was ready just as I was leaving my drive way to pick-up, 10 mins early.
