good food and love the owner. pizza is really good, love the frozen food dishes by his wife, and other products.

Good Indian food at low price with a homemade feel.

Naan bread was initially soft but bland, tasted better reheated at home with some salted butter. It tasted like it either came from a bag or was sitting out for a while, instead of being baked fresh to order like other restaurants do. Meats were over cooked to the point of being dry despite the sauces, and curry & rice quality differs day to day or time of day, ranging from ok quality to verging on sour taste from being too old. Desserts cost 8$/lb for dishes like jalebi, gulab jamun, gujar halwa, & are supposed to be handmade. Pakora was tasty for being all spiced mashed potato filling, excellent value for 70 cents apiece.Overall, a small restaurant with a smaller side of options, cheapest prices anywhere but with small portions. Note the owner raised prices & cut out the (lunch-buffet substitute) individual value meals probably due to rising costs.Overall unbeatable prices at the cost of ok to substandard food quality for curries; better value for pakora, bread, & desserts.

Three stars is for THE BEST SAMOSA in the town.Place is not that attractive for dine in.But then, I have dined in just a couple of times.Price wise it is very affordable place. They also serve delicious wood fire oven pizza.again, they serve THE BEST SAMOSA in the Washington DC metro area.

Food is absolutely amazing. Truly authentic Indian food. Service and ambiance isn't great. But it's all about the food!

For essentially a single man operation, this is very good. Lots of varieties and he prepares all the food, namkeen and sweets at his shop. Very reasonably priced too. We have been customers here for 20+ years.

The best samosas in town ! Price is very reasonable compare with other Indian store.

Update: Snacks are good here, especially samosas. Would not recommend for meals.Really bad food for dinner. Picked up the dinner and the gravies (shahi paneer and daal) were cold plus the breads (tandoori roti and stuffed naan) which were freshly prepared, were undercooked.

Ordered Samosa and Gulab Jamun for pick up. Samosa was only 70 cents a piece which is a good bargain. There is a big catch, Chutney doesn't come with it. You have to pay $1.25 for approximately 2 oz. chutney. It's like bying Coffee for 25 cents but paying for Cream and sugar. Anyway, Samosa was just ok and Gulab Jamun wasn't that good.We gave one more try to the restaurant the other day. Ordered three dishes in dinner, Malai Kofta, Baingan Bhurta, and Okra. They were again a bargain for $5.00 a piece. After picking up we realized that they come in 8 oz container, basically half the order what you get in other restaurant. Also it doesn't come with rice. Baingan bhurta was tasty. Malai Kofta was just ok. Okra was very oily and chewy and after few bites we gave up.Prices are cheap but as the old saying goes, cheap can not be good and good can not be cheap.
