Worst food ever ordee chicken tikka its nasty no taste at all, its over cooked and hard to eat call the manager they don't change for anything or apologize for inconvenience what kind of restaurant service??
This place is a delicious fixture of my week. The food is excellent, service is friendly and all at a ridiculously low price. One of the best south Indian restaurants in the area with probably the best coconut chutney in this DMV area. Thursday dosa nights are an absolute steal! This place is a strong recommend.
The worst Indian food I ever ate in USA. Empty trays!! After 15 mins of buffet starts….Highlight of that restaurant. Buffet expectations: Tasty curd rice, watermelon fruit and sweet if you are lucky on that day.
Visit this place because our old buffet place closed. The selection was small and they were running out of food. The place was super busy, but they only had 2 people working the floor. The food itself was ok. Most of the items on the buffet were not the most common things you see. There was really no dessert other than some cut up watermelon honeydew. Would not recommend going out of the way for this place.
A spacious authentic south Indian restaurant with a very wide variety of south Indian food.We ordered podi dosa, chicken lollipops, medhu vada ,south indian coffee(which was 2/5)and chicken biryani.Everything tasted so good except the biryani. The chicken dum biryani was a disappointment, had chicken pieces that smelled very bad and seemed like they were either raw or old (confused ?).But overall the experience was okay.I recommend this place to people who love authentic food.Oh The rasam was theee best ?
I came here for the unlimited dosa night. The taste is authentic and I highly recommend. You get unlimited dosas, bhajiyas, upma and kheer too. Steal of a deal really. The double spicy paneer biryani is pretty good too. It’s worth a visit and I’ll come again!
Love that we can bring the youngster here on Thursday night for the buffet and she can get her cheese and chocolate dosas and the adults have the option of the buffet or ordering off the menu. This is our favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Prefer Kaveri over the other Indian restaurants.
Stay away from this place.. made a joke of dosa night. Worst service- they say we are short staffed and look at the pic of cheese dosa.. chutney podi dosa was served but without podi. There were barely 7 tables and the response from the manager was we are over whelmed with the response of customers, we didnt expect so many people to come in and we are in process of hiring more people. One server told me- only you are the one who is making an issue out if it, the fact is 3 tables walked out of there in front of me after waiting for over an hour with wrong or no orders. Kaveri usa if you do not have staff who can handle a small number of customers, who know customer service and a chef who doesnt know how to cook dosa- I do not mean just the shape of the dosa but taste too (raw / uncooked in places)- do not promote a dosa night. It wasnt worth 11.99 per person or 7.99 for kids 5 & above. Covid has affected a lot of people and businesses but if during covid your take out orders / uber eats delivery didnt get affected, then dont use covid as a shield for bad dosa night. The add mentioned cone dosa for kids, but the cheese dosa and chocolate dosa’s were not in conical shape.
The worst Indian restaurant in this area. I have ordered one Butter chicken and Ambur Biryani. Ambur biryani was cooked like Chicken Pulav. Butter chicken was not cooked and was having a foul smell. I gave the same feedback to the restaurant, they have promised me to return my money but never fulfilled their promise after multiple follow up. I will say to stay away from this restaurant if you are expecting the quality of Godavari (Earlier name of the same restaurant)
Bad dosa’s - uncooked, worst service
