Clean, fast and delicious. We were seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. The wait for our food was short despite the crowd. The place was well staffed and ran smoothly. Will definitely return
Not a great IHOP. I ordered food through Uber eats. Got a notification it was ready. Went inside to grab it and I’m told it’s not ready yet. They tell me they are probably packing it. So I wait another 5-10 minutes. Ask again if it’s ready. She goes back to check and just comes out and says she didn’t see it. I asked how much longer. She didn’t even ask the kitchen what the status of the order was which I consider poor customer service. So there’s no way for me to even know when to ask again without bothering them. Incredibly disorganized restaurant when it comes to ordering food.
couldn't handle the mother's day rush. staff (other than the manager) seems incompetent. 3 stars because the food was good.

Went to Gaithersburg, MD for some errands, and ended near an IHOP. I haven't been in an IHOP in years!It's was a little bit late for pancakes, so I did a chicken sand and some awesome onion rings. Everything arrived my table fresh and hot. Services was nice and fast!
When I arrived it had a terrible smell maybe due to poor ventilation, the food was good but when I received the bill, I paid using my debit card and I added the tip and total amount.3 days later the tip amount was doubled!! I called the manager to explain these issues, he said in a few days the extra tip amount the server added will be returned to my account, It never happened. Advice pay in cash when you go to this restaurant.
The food tast nasty like it was sitting out for hours and the package for my delivery. Who in the world would want a coffee like this?
Nice Decoration with ample family spaces and Delicious breakfast. Weekday special 2x2x2 for 4.99 is a must try item.
I was feeling down and wanted to go out with my kids so I went to Gaithersburg IHop on 1/20/22. Meagan S. happened to be our server. To begin with, she had an attitude and was very cold and rude at the same times. When asked questions about menu she was like what you mean I don’t understand? She was so rude (there were many times I felt like just getting up and leaving but i didn’t because I didn’t want to mess up my kids evening they were happy to be out and they love Ihop)And no it wasn’t like she she didn’t understand my English she just had an attitude. Long story short, she brought our food and didn’t bring my gluten free pancakes for another half an hour. I understand this is probably not her fault but by the time she brought it my Kids were done with their food but she never even apologized for bring it that late and quietly put it on the table. Earlier when she brought my kids food or when she brought my pancakes she never even asked if we needed anything else or if were ok. Then she turns around and without asking us if we she could bring our bill she brought our bill and placed it on the table. when I told her my son wants strawberry milkshake she took the bill back and brought him milkshake with bill again still didn’t say anything. I honestly have a feeling she either doesn’t like people and is doing a job which isn’t clearly for her or she has something against foreigners or specifically feel ok to be rude to brown people. She definitely needs better training. I still paid her $11.45 tip for $38.56 food just because i didn’t want to be like her.
ihop is my favorite place. but this time it was very disappointing. we are a family of 5 adults and 6 children. We ordered food for everyone but they didn't bring my daughter's food. We ordered the sodas and milkshakes first and they brought them last and they didn't even bring us straws. my daughter couldn't eat because the waitress never brought her food even though we reminded her the 3 times she came to our table. and in the end she never came back. So we had to feed my daughter from our own plates and she did not eat what she wanted to eat.I sent my complaint to the company, but I did not even receive an apology. terrible customer service
