One of my husband's favorite burger place! We had a quick drive-thru before going to DC for July 4th. The service was fast and we were well accomodated. The burgers and fries are so good and recommended if you're looking for a taste from the South.

I used 2 like checkers for a fast food burger style, every time I pass by one location I craved it, but my last 3 experiences, taste is not the same, it's getting closer and closer 2 McDonald's cardboard taste.I'll give 3 stars because I used 2 like it.
Sorry but I have to be honest. I ordered Checkers today and am still kind of stunned at the burger I got. I can't put into words how flavorless the beef was (if that's even what it is). It didn't smell like a burger and the cheese wasn't melted. The best thing I can compare it to is hospital cafeteria food. I actually ended up throwing it out and heated up one of those frozen Fast-Bite cheeseburgers from Dollar Tree. ?♀️
Depends when you go food is good when it's fresh, sometimes they do give you food that has been sitting out they just reheat it up. Best time to go is Mid- Afternoon if you can. Mostly all fast food places have fresh food around this time.
Fries were of course amazing but the sandwiches were less than desired. Squished and small, if I come back I'll just stick to the fries
The food is fast food with emphasis on burgers. the chicken tenders are on the large side. there are two lanes if you go through the drive through. be aware if you are in the right lane the order taking, payment, and food receiving will be on the drivers side. likewise they will be on the passenger side if you take the left lane. thus if driving by yourself or with someone who shouldn't handle those tasks, children, take the right lane. I find the staff to be exceedingly pleasant and cheerful. there is a walk up window as well if you prefer that.
I'm obsessed with the ? milkshakes! Great loyalty program as well as food. I have never had any issues other than the shake machine being down lol. Funnel cake fries are a must have order! You can have that nostalgic summer fair feeling anytime you want. Just make sure they put a lot of powdered sugar on them. The burgers are huge and the fries are awesome. I definitely recommend this checkers!Also get an apple pie! I didn't even know they existed until a month ago. They are amazing!
We cruised by the drive-thru for a late night bite. The friendly staff followed special instructions, perfectly. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Thanks guys!
Good as it gets. Three stars because it's salty as hell . Like when you have a cheat day after a work out. Don't indulge everyday to much it can take you out. Lol and that's every checkers ?
