Great food with a great view to the airport. Highly recommend! Came here on a rainy Saturday so it wasn't too busy. The food was great. We tried omelette on the special section (change weekly, I think), and it was very good, highly recommended. We also tried the pancake, which was on the chewy side but still very delicious.
This place is wonderful- the staff, the food, the location, the family style and Norwegian experience; will absolutely be visiting next time we’re in town. Felt like a piece of home.
Cafe Sophie is the latest restaurant to inhabit the air park. I’ve been to them all over the many years, and this is far and away the greatest! The food was amazing and plentiful. The staff, Lauren and Bridget, were superb both in personality and service. I’m a fan!
The service was amazing and the food was so light and tasty! Also I was so happy to see Soohie (the pup) in the cafe?? Also would definitely recommend their pizzas and pancakes!
Nice place to bring kids and sit outside watching airport activity. Staff was very polite. Our waitress was genuinely funny and professional when playing along with my father’s attempt at his own poor humor. Even with a full house our food arrived fast. The owner brought his cute dog outside to greet patrons. Same owner earlier had taught us how to use the strange elevator device in the lobby. The food was above par. It’s a casual atmosphere. Nothing fancy or pretentious.
First time at this little hidden gem and definitely won’t be the last! We took the kids here for Sunday brunch and they loved it. The food was tasty. I enjoyed the pancakes although my kids were shocked when they didn’t have any syrup for them. The vanilla latte was one of the best I’ve had! The staff were all super sweet.The outdoor space is perfect for watching the planes come and go. We already can’t wait to go back again.
We love Cafe Sophie! Delicious food in a unique setting, wonderful to sit outside in good weather watching small planes take off and land. And the renovated inside is comfortable and inviting. The food is fabulous, new specials every week, often from lands far and wide! We've enjoyed specials like Chicken enchiladas, Swiss Army Stew, Algerian vegetable soup, along with regular menu items like baguette sandwiches with THE freshest mixed salad, delicious house vinaigrette, hamburger, beyond burger, bangers and mash, open faced salmon sandwich.....We've been around a half a dozen times, and have enjoyed every meal. The owners and waitstaff are amazingly friendly and helpful, and we plan to return often!
I’d been following the menu on Facebook and decided it was time to try Cafe Sophie. We met some friends for breakfast and really enjoyed, the food, atmosphere, and staff. I’m a vegetarian and was happy to find the Impossible Bratwurst on the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the great service! We all decided we’d be going back and recommended Cafe Sophie to all.
Awesome spot to eat! I had the German lunch earlier this week and had to come back this morning for the English breakfast. Both were incredible!! great service, the waitress was super friendly and helpful which really makes me wish I could give more than 5 stars!
A hidden gem in Maryland! Everything was great! Food, staff, and ambiance ??
