I got a large almond tea with boba here! The store front was very trendy and had acrylic shields up between us and the employees, I was glad to see the covid precautions. The cashier who helped us was upbeat and friendly. I liked that you could really customize your drink with ice level, sugar level, and toppings. I felt like the flavor of my tea was good, not too unnatural or cloying at all. The boba was perfect, not undercooked or too chewy. I thought the prices were reasonable too. I would totally go back and try more flavors! I really liked my visit.
I don't recommend getting a fruit tea with the black pearl topping. The sugar flavor of the boba was stronger than most boba places and it clashed with the lychee flavor. It would probably be delicious in a milk tea, but I don't usually order those. Also this is the Kentlands, so the drinks are kind of pricey.
Really good bubble tea, love the various varieties of teas and the toppings are always on point. It is my favorite bubble tea in the whole DMV area. However, their stamp system is a little deceptive. I acquired 10 stamps and tried to use it on a large strawberry latte with no topping, which should have been free since it falls under “free drink (any size, excluding toppings)”. But instead, I was charged a bit over a dollar since the “free drink” was actually just $5.50 off. I would recommend changing the wording on the stamp cards to reflect what you can actually get.
More fresh than most boba tea spots. Always busy but drink always come out quick. They don't accept cash tho.
Drinks are good, HOWEVER, the place is very overstimulating to my toddler and myself. First, the music. It’s TOO LOUD it meshes terribly with the loud noises from the machines making drinks and the chatter from other customers all this noise and it doesn’t help especially if your trying to order. I found, (not meaning to), but myself and the cashier having to practically raise our voices loudly and often repeat in order to hear each other over all the noise. My son always puts his hands over his ears every time we come in because it’s so loud. Best solution would be to no music or to lower the music and possibly put music with no words like instrumental or lofi or something calm but not too overstimulating. Otherwise staff is great, drinks are great, place seems clean and organized just the loudness is my only problem.
Love coming here ! Great drinks and love the staff they are always so helpful and kind ! There’s so many varieties of drinks to choose from and each time I try something different I’m usually not disappointed ! No complaints here it’s a solid place and unfortunately, on a few of my visits I’ve witnessed a handful of times customers being disrespectful or rude while interacting with staff and the staff is always so professional and helpful. Overall, great environment and glad I found this place I’m always happy to come here ! Definitely recommend.
I got the sunrise bubble tea with boba. I liked the flavor and thought the shop was cute and the people were friendly.
We love the lychee slush here! So refreshing the other drinks we tried were the coconut slush and brown sugar latte. Those were good as well but nothing compares to the lychee. We get it all the time.
Just picked up my order and it looked like someone had already drunk some of it. Went back to the store and was told that it IS what I get because I didn’t order any topping to go with my milk tea. REALLY? Are you kidding me? Will you pay $5 plus tax for this?
Service was amazing, but not sure what the locals think good tea is. Was just passing through and got tea that under brewed... Kinda watery. Props to them for having alternative milks and a vegan menu though.
