Delicious mixed drink (cucumber and gin? Yes, please!) and absolutely incredible pizza. We got the chicken and waffles and chicken bacon ranch pizza (with the pepperoni crust) along with the truffle Parmesan fries.Staff was super friendly and made sure that our order came out perfect. Will be returning soon!
Wonderful find! Bar maid at another establishment recommended and she was RIGHT!!! Great food & service! Outdoor seating area was a welcomed surprise and nice to eat outside. Will definitely return here!
Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the pizza. It was a very unique atmosphere, looks like an old house turned into a restaurant. The whole experience was enjoyable
Yo! This place is amazing. The people here love their product. A huge selection of beer updated on a regular basis and a great place to learn more about the fine art of craft beer consumption. Great food designed to perfectly pair with the beer. Amazing pizza. Highly recommend the Veronica V, Chicken Biscuit, and any of the different variations of fries are all amazing. Want to learn more about craft beef? Ask! These people love to talk about their product. The interior design of the restaurant is an Alice in wonderland theme and it’s got plenty to talk about.
Great vegan and non vegan food & ServiceWent here for Mother’s Day and enjoyed the most delicious vegan Hongo Mongo white pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp and the white sauce was incredible. The truffle fries are also perfect. My family who is not vegan also very much enjoyed their pizza. Best pan pizza I’ve ever had the chance of tasting- recently won an award for best pan pizza. Come check it out!! Awesome brunch options and service was excellent!
Within minutes of taking our table it was obvious this was not for us! The musics playing was obnoxious at best, dam right annoying was my thought. Paid for our over priced drinks and departed. Shame as the menu looked ok. Why do folks think it’s acceptable to force their obnoxious music on others!
We went to this restaurant based upon rave reviews from a local Frederick shop keeper, but weren’t bowled over by our food selections. This is pub fare that you could get at any establishment. We weren’t thrilled that you have to scan their QR code to pull up the menu. Were they trying to save money on menus or still using Covid protocol?? Not sure. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. One of us had the Slawsome Chicken Sandwich that consisted of a few pieces of slaw. Honestly, why even call it Slawsome if you are only going to throw on a couple sprigs of slaw. The smash burger was fine, but not fantastic. The fries were all stuck together and made it difficult to eat them without getting crumbs and grease all over your hands. And to top it all off, this mediocre menu was pricey. We will not return.
Really cool little place in Downtown Frederick. Very popular, gets very busy, bars on both levels that are full. The food is very good--Detroit-style pizza is their specialty and they won awards for their version of it. It's excellent, if you're into that style, and they have several varieties. They have a number of other things including a number of vegan and gluten-free options, too. Good service. Definitely check it out.
First time coming here and was blown away with the food! I figured the pizza would be good but was not prepared for how good it was! Our waiter and waitress were very attentive and quick to bring us refills and new drinks. Our appetizers came out pretty quick and our pizzas came out pretty quick too. Each of the pizzas we ordered were top tier in their own toppings category. Every person at the table had a favorite but all agreed that each Pizza was amazing and they would be satisfied with any one of them.I am a fan of Detroit style pizza and I felt like these were cooked to perfection. The edges had enough crisp and crunch to balance the soft doughy inside with just enough oil on the bottom to round out the texture palette. The sauce was not chunky but was still thick and tasty. Pepperonis were not overcooked even the ones that were around the edge of the one pizza. Our waiter had said the pizza was award-winning, and after eating it I can see why.The chicken bacon ranch had a lot of ranch but not to the point where it was super messy. The In (pepperoni) crust we trust had a lot of pepperonis which made it a strong contender for number one. The Veronica Vaughn was the perfect combination of pepperoni pizza with ricotta, definitely my favorite. And the chicken and waffle was surprisingly amazing - the whipped cream dough was a nice touch to capture the true essence of a chicken and waffle meal. Can't wait to go back and try all of the things on the menu!
Cool vibe. Eclectic atmosphere. Soothing house music playing in the background perfect for unwinding post work day. Pleasant knowledgeable staff.. Oh and it's a pub so good craft beer and bar food that's belly filling and satisfying visually and flavor wise. Crowd started rolling in after 5 but no waiting or crowding at all. Just good food, bar vibe, locals hanging out. Recommended.
