Best cheeseburger sub any where, you will not be disappointed, the fries are killer also. There food hasn't changed in 20 years and I hope it never does.
Quick server and non-intrusive. Kept drinks filled as needed. Subs ok, fries very good. Lighting a little dark to read menu well, but great if sitting with drinks and having a private conversation. Would try this place again.
Place is literally in a basement, but it's quiet and clean. Service was outstanding and the food was hot, fresh and good. A great value as well. There is a reason this place has been there for 30 plus years and still very busy even on a week night.

Kudos to the overworked staff. Only two people in a bar that was packed for the lunch hour rush, and they were working so hard to take orders and get the food out. Got a burger and fries, which I'd heard good things about, but it was nothing special. The bun to burger ratio was extreme. Just a thin, rather bland burger patty. It was dry and overcooked even though I asked for it medium. Fries are $3 extra, and nothing about them merited the extra cost.
Wags is AWESOME. I'd never been and needed to grab some lunch so I hopped on in. I love the dimly lit atmosphere, it's cozy and enjoyable. I'm sure on a busy night it's a fun place to get together with friends to watch the game or hang out after a long day of work.For lunch, I got a classic cheeseburger since that's a great test of a burger place. Man, it was amazing. It was jammed with flavor and juicy. The fries were also fantastic. Honestly, it's a great place to pop in. They also do happy hour specials, so if you're looking to give them a shot then hop over after work. You'll definitely be back again and again.
Forget the world and have a burger and fries! Timeless and classic!
