Amazing food and great service. Kim is the best server, she has a beautiful smile and was so pleasant. The Goat was tender and full of flavor. The garlic bread is delicious. Kim my server recommended the mango drink which is refreshing. I loved it
I do love Indian food, and Taj Mahal makes me happy to live in Frederick.People pass by on West Patrick when they really need to stop in here for the amazing Dal Tadka, which is my favorite Indian dish. Their butter chicken is wonderful as well. The garlic naan may actually steal the show, as it is perfectly crispy, and wonderfully flavored.It’s a wonderful environment and the service was fantastic. Our waitress, Kim, was just the best, and positivity always makes for a better meal.I’m not a good photographer, so it may not look as beautiful as it might otherwise, but it’s delicious food. We will definitely be coming back here again, and soon.
Excellent quality food and friendly, accommodating staff. The food was slightly more expensive than what I might pay at other restaurants, but the quality made it well worth the price. Very happy to have found and enjoyed a meal here!
First time coming to this restaurant and it was nothing short of fantastic. Andy, our waiter was great! Very knowledgeable and helpful in planning our entire meal! Everything we ate was perfection and we even ordered to go. Bartender was also great, ensuring the drinks were good. All staff were super friendly from the moment we walked in to the restaurant and constantly checking on us which was appreciated. FOOD IS AMAZING! Definitely will be coming back, if you're debating you should go! Hidden gem.
Go to this place! Stop looking elsewhere and go here. The people are great and the food is delicious. I've gone to other places. My heart and stomach love this place. I cannot recommend it enough. The food portions are like going back home where your mom and grandma fill up your plate twice. So go here and have the best food.

I had dinner at Taj Mahal tonight. I will say, it's the best Indian restaurant I have eaten at for many many years. I tried a few different dishes and everything was absolutely delicious. Hot, cooked to perfection, tender and the seasonings were on point. Not to mention the staff was so attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
Our new favorite Indian restaurant! My daughter and I ate there for the first time this evening and had a wonderful experience. Both waiters went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal. They were super friendly and welcoming and made our visit fun. And the food was fantastic! We'll definitely be back : )
Taj Mahal is without a doubt my favorite Indian restaurant in Frederick and possibly anywhere! Expansive menu and everything I've tried seems to be a winner (butter chicken, chili chicken, goat curry, etc). Cocktails are great too. Bartender / server Sean is very personable and my friends and I always enjoy seeing him when we come in. Definitely a recommended spot.
