Best authentic Mexican tacos in Frederick! Their tacos are about $4 and come STUFFED with meat. 1 taco comes with 2 tortillas and so much meat that I actually split it into 2 tacos. There's a toppings bar with onions, pico de gallo, cilantro, and salsas to put on your tacos. Their chips are perfectly crips and salty. Their horchata and tamarindo drinks taste just like my mom would make them at home. They have birria tacos with consome on Thursdays for $15 and they are thick and juicy. Honestly the best around! The employees are all nice and speak both English and Spanish
Hands down the best tacos in Frederick. After countless attempts at Mexican food across Frederick, many being unsuccessful or only having one or two specialty items, this was the first to pleasantly surprise across the board. We got the Saudera and Al Pastor tacos and then the breaded steak. They each came with a side of rice and beans. The meat in each of these dishes was perfect. Cooked with so much flavor, extremely tender and juicy as hell. The rice and beans cannot be skipped. The rice and beans were gone before anything else.We ordered a side of Guacamole, which resulted in our only complaint; give us more chips!
Managers here are super rude almost everytime. Today, the manager accused me of lying about there being no limes with my tacos. First she tried to make me pay extra. I showed the mortified employee standing closest to me that there were no limes in the box. She wasnt assured. She made me give back my whole bag of food so they could ensure that I wasn't lying about there being no limes in there. Then she stole back the 5 packets of ketchup out of my bag that i needed for my fries -- luckily the mortified employee warned me of this & i got more on the way out.The last time I was at this establishment, the manager literally chased me out the door because i took an extra straw to share the drink I bought. Crazy. The regular employees are nice and the food is decent but the management is literally awful & need to get their act together
Taco bar is a great taco and Spanish food place that is a pottle out of the way, so it is a little unknown. Everything is good here. Make sure you get some chips and guacamole. It is delicious. Sooooo good!!! They have a small salsa bar with a few extras. The shredded beef is absolutely phenomenal!! American style adds some of the musts for me. If you are in the mood for some tacos, do not skip this place!!! I love Spanish food, and this is a go-to!!!
This has single handedly my been there worst interaction i've had with a restaurant, now on two occasions. Since we had driven 45 minutes to eat here and had spent over $100 before realizing our entire order had been screwed up after leaving, I had called and politely tried to find a resolution to this. After repeatedly being told no, that i was wrong, the manager got combative with me on a second occasion. First time, i boiled it down to she may be having a bad day But, turns out, this is just how they treat the people trying to eat and give them business...very disgraceful and disappointing. This business can improve by hiring employees that do not get combative with their customers and improving their system so that people can get the very expensive food that they ordered. One persons ENTIRE order was missing. 0/10 experience and food. I HIGHLY recommend going anywhere but here if you want to enjoy yourself and not be charged an entire limb for food you will not receive.

Me and my family love taco bar, today I made a pickup order, I had lost my mask but since I only went to get my food I didn’t think it was a big deal. I went inside and when It was my turn to get my food this guy came from the back and told a young boy at the cashier to not give me my food because I didn’t have a mask, I am aware that we have to wear masks but like I said I was just going in and going out quickly, There were also people not social distancing so what difference does that make if they’re not following rules aswell!?
the food is always amazing
Ordered 3 tripe burritos to go and was charged extra for the tripe without being told no where is there a sign that says extra for the tripe. Says $5.25 for burrito any choice meat.I will update on the taste of food after eating.
Never had Birria before, decided to try it, definitely wasn’t disappointed. It’s amazing and I’ll definitely be going back for more!
