Very welcoming and efficient staff, we were in a bit of a hurry so I appreciated how quickly I was able to get my drink so we could get back on the road! My Iced Shaken Espresso with Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam was so delicious! My suggestion, customize the recipe and remove the classic syrup, it's definitely not necessary! Of course that's just my opinion!
The staff are excellent and have never had a problem with my order. I took off two stars due to the poor design and handling of the immense amount of traffic that comes through. Besides the Starbucks within the local Giant this store is the only one in the area that does drive through and shares this section with McDonald's aswell. Many times from 7:30am to almost late afternoon the line can be wrapped out to the street (impeding traffic). There are also additional cars approaching from another direction to skip in front of already waiting cars. One time I realized I waited 25 minutes just to order. Many times the parking is also filled to max. I no longer wait if the line is past the front entrance - it is not worth burning fuel to wait in line. Additional staff to run the orders and others to take orders (similar to Chick fil-A style) may help to better manage the volume.
The staff are friendly and nice. I enjoy picking my coffee drive through every time.

Got iced Chai and 2 cake pops, went through drive through and the lady taking the order was surprisingly nice. Always consistent quality of food and drinks.
Not too long ago, I did a mobile with lite ice, and got ice filled to the top. Recently, got the brown sugar shaken espresso. Picture shows what is on the SB website, and this is what my sister brought home from my mobile. I did not even taste espresso. I had tipped $2 upfront - but took it back later. I don't know what is up with this location, it's hit or miss. It's closer for me, but Rt.40, 7th St, 26, I need to stick with them, the baristas are consistently better. Disappointed in the Urbana location. :(
Leon is the best one over there. He consistently makes my white mocha and is very customer oriented. Hope to see you again!
I order from this Starbucks drive thru on a regular basis because it’s the closest one least out of my way when I’m going to work. I consistently have had problems with ordering drinks at this location for some reason. Either the person taking my order misunderstands what I’m asking for and puts it in incorrectly or the drink is made incorrectly. Every time I point out that the drink isn’t the one I asked for I get argued with to the point I just don’t bother now and leave with whatever mistake they’ve made.I understand mornings are busy but it never hurts to just confirm. I don’t always pay attention to the screen early in the mornings and they only just recently fixed it because it was broken for a while. So if they feel like they didn’t hear correctly it would be nice if they just admitted it. I’d rather repeat my drink order to make sure they heard it then to get something incorrect.There are some morning shifts that are absolutely lovely and wonderful staff. Sadly that doesn’t help for the mornings that aren’t.
A very busy location - they deserve more staff for the busy rushes. I've gotten a few wrong orders and they've been great at fixing them. While pregnant, I got a regular Americano instead of a Decaf I ordered via drive thru. This is a problem as I was limiting caffeine. I recommend double checking the screen and the label on your coffee to be sure.
