A little loud in the dinning area. The menu was very overwhelming which makes it difficult to decide what you want. The restaurant focuses strongly on plant base/healthy options using local produce. The portions were too large.
We have been here twice during our visit. Food and service has been exceptional!
Went there for brunch with my husband and son. We sat down to eat and the first thing that I told our waiter (Jorge) was about my sons food allergies. (Eggs and peanuts). I proceeded to ask if the Mac and cheese in their kids menu was Kraft Mac and cheese (as Kraft does not use eggs) and I mentioned that it looked like it was the only thing on their kids menu that was “safe” or allergy friendly for my son. The waiter assured me that it was Kraft. We went ahead and placed the order and when the food came the Mac and cheese was Deff not the yellow ones we where used too- we tried to give it to my son as we had been reassured that it was Kraft and we know it’s safe for him. My son immediately spit it out. I asked the waiter when he came back (about 15 minutes later) to please go back and double check that this is Kraft Mac and cheese as it certainly didn’t look like it was. He came back and said it was nestle Mac and cheese. I once again asked him to go back and check if it had eggs, while he went back to the kitchen I used Google to look up nestle mac and white cheddar cheese and there it was … eggs and egg whites where part of the ingredients list. Waiter came back and flat out lied to me and said nope, no eggs. I then proceeded to show him my phone and he said he would go back to the kitchen and check again. He came back yet again and said oh yeah it has eggs. I asked for the manager, a gentleman by the name of Nelson came up and was like hello everything ok? I was taken back, was he not briefed by the waiter? My son is anaphylactic to eggs and the waiter knew this, and he’s asking if everything is alright? No apology no nothing. He left and went to check the ingredients again and a new manager came back who proceeded to blame the disconnect on logistical issues. My sons livelihood was compromised because the lack of care and concern for allergies. Allergies are a very serious concern and should be taken more seriously. I don’t care if u have logistical issues. Your staff should be trained to go back in the kitchen and ask the chef anytime a food allergy is mentioned as this could be life threading to many. Thankfully my so tried it and spit it out- but if he would have swallowed it we could be having liability issues. Not a good place to go!
I had quinoa coconut pancakes with grilled bananas & fresh fruit and guava mint ginger ale. All was delicious.

Clean, well lit, friendly server.It's a diner and has that theme to it. Can order whatever on the menu whenever.Lee liked her Pancakes and my chicken sandwich was pretty good. Server even found some old bay for me. Would definitely come back.
Best place to eat if you get Julie, Tatiana, Keith, or Perry as your servers. If they're not on shift then stay far away. We frequently get undercooked food here unless those four are around. I'm not kidding, it's frustrating and a waste of time.Julie takes incredible care of us and has always gone way above and beyond. She really cares about delivering good food and making people happy.Management here is excellent, they are also nice to us. The food is incredible, I just wish it was always cooked correctly considering the price.
I absolutely love their vegan options! Especially the vegan Benedict. So good!!!I’ve been to a number of Silver Diners, but this was my first time in Frederick. The restaurant was clean, the staff was wonderful, and the wait was short for the amount of people dining. Will definitely be back when I visit my family again! Wish there was one in Delaware!
Love the jukeboxes they have on the tables! They definitely need to get those fixed for all the tables. The service is excellent, love the menu. Definitely recommend the fish tacos and the brownies. An upper end classic American diner that serves breakfast all day. Good quality food. LGBTQ safe.
