The staff was so friendly and welcoming! That always makes a huge difference :) They gave us a booth in a closed section so that we could have a quieter experience, and the food was delicious! We got the Nachos, Chicken Fajitas, and Shrimp Tacos. Everything was on point. Solid date night; we will definitely be back for more great food and service!
Food is poor quality but the staff is friendly.We were visiting from VA and thought we would try an local Mexican restaurant. We ordered queso and calamari as appetizers. The queso tasted like cheap fake Velveeta cheese with old El Paso taco seasoning stirred in. The calamari were huge thick chewy rings with a mayonnaise and taco seasoning dipping sauce. It started separating and had oil oozing out and gathering on the surface. I ordered a seafood chimichanga which arrived warm not hot inside which is scary for seafood. My wife ordered a spinach enchilada which had very little spinach and a whole lot of cheap cheese.
Sat at bar sipping Margaritas, feasting on home made chips and salsa. Delightful time. Staff courteous and attentive. Restaurant clean. Food cooking smelled wonderful. Next time dinner.
It’s a miss for me. If this is all you got in Frederick in terms of Mexican food, I really feel sorry for you. Not authentic tasting at all. I am giving one star only because staff was friendly.
We don't make a big thing of New Year's Eve, but we thought we'd enjoy Mexican for dinner that night so we stopped in at Mariachi. We stepped out of the wet, gloomy night into a bright, welcoming fiesta! Having eaten here many times before, we knew the food was excellent. What we didn't expect was the weekly special shrimp, scallop and lobster tail fajita or the strolling Mariachi players. Really made the night one to remember! We'll be back during the year, of course, but we will definitely plan to be there next New Year's Eve!!
This restaurant stands out above the rest. Fantastic food. Great portions.I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed Mexican food as much as I did here.Terrific salsa, and we ordered the queso as well.We are vegetarian so we got a lot to choose from.Check it out you won't be disappointed.
Everything was perfect. The food, decor, staff, presentation, and atmosphere. Our server, Vilma, was spot-on. We can't wait to return!

The chef went above and beyond to make me some Tomales when they were not on the menu. They were amazing. This place a easily arrived in my top 5 list of Mexican restaurants.
