We ordered 2 French dip sandwiches, that were Prime Rib sliced thin into sandwich’s, it came with French fries au jus. The taste was out of this world, portions were filling, atmosphere was very pleasant, staff came to our needs as we needed them, and the cost was more then reasonable. This was my 1st time here but we’ll be back. If your around this place stop in it’s well worth it
Came here for a date night with my boyfriend, and the service was okay, and I guess the food was decent. But my boyfriend noticed on my cup there was someone else’s gunk on it after I had already drank some. I always drink with a straw, so I knew it wasn’t mine. Honestly it grossed me out. They also had a pretty serious fruit fly problem. Every time we killed one another came. Spent like $80 to be disappointed. Our appetite was gone immediately. Would not go back.

When I asked the server to have the "Manager / Owner " to come to my table he ws inconsiderate, arrogant, confrontational and impolite. He needs to take a course in customer relations. Instead of caring about is customer he said " If you do not like it leave. " The other food we had was good but his attitude was so obnoxious I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone who would expect a pleasant experience.

What an absolute delight to stop by Madrones for dinner. Crab dip appetizer was heavenly. Chips and pretzel stix gave a nice variety of textures. House chop salad expertly dressed. Full rack of ribs, sweet potato casserole and grilled asparagus for my buddy was in his words- "the best in the area." I had the Cowboy-cut Ribeye with a Gorgonzola sauce and loaded baked potato. Finally a restaurant that can cook a steak perfectly Medium. Tha Strawberry Cheesecake was absolutely excellent. Nice atmosphere with dim dinner lighting. Plenty of Tv's to watch some Baseball. The Staff were superb!! I cannot say enough about the staff, they really made the experience next level. Now going to be a main-stay in the rotation of Frederick restaurants.
I spoke with the owner and when I asked the question about questionable items being burned on the grill, he abruptly said "It's proprietary as to how we cook our food" and and asked "when are you leaving". He threatened us by standing over our shoulders and pushed us out of his restaurant. It was obvious we uncovered/witnessed poor practices and and he was acting out of guilt.
I ordered a pickup order on 15 May 22. After Sunday brunch I wanted salmon and grits but because it was 10 minutes after brunch hours. I was told that there would be a 8 dollar upcharge for the salmon. I agree and was told that my total bill was $30.00. The next day I checked my account I was charged $ 36.90 for my meal. I continue to be surprised by how many great restaurant choices there are in and around Frederick. We went here on a Sunday afternoon, expect a wait time of an hour or longer. Luckily we had reservations, but still had to wait 30 minutes to be sat. Just goes to show how popular this place is. They have a brunch menu on Sunday's, I think it's available till 2pm. The food was excellent, and the service was great. It's a bit pricey for Frederick, but the portion sized are nice.
food was delicious and the waitress was charming. the interior was great I will definitely go back.
