Good food and great service. We loved the Mango Chicken and the Vietnamese Crepe. The kid portions were generous and my seven year old loved the Vermacelli with Chicken and my picky 4 year old gobbled up her chicken fried rice, especially grateful to the waiter who asked if we wanted the veggies served on side (so thoughtful!). My husband originally ordered the Special fried rice, which he was not impressed by. But the waiter took it back with no hesitation and quickly replaced it with the Mango Chicken, which was great.
Lucky Pho Ever is an Asian Bistro. They serve alcohol and have a menu adorned with Vietnamese, Thai, and other pan-asian staples.Average cost per person in our group: $17.00 Food was good, but pricier. Would go back if the offered lunch prices or kids menu on the weekend.
I have probably tried at least 50 places for Pho.This one is the best hands down. It’s a nice, small establishment. So much so that you feel like your in a Vietnamese home. The staff is very friendly and the service is above and beyond. My daughters and I go there whenever we can. She attends school in MD. I will be very sad when she graduates as we live in PA. I love you guys.
Let me start off with we were sat down promptly, the food was good and on point with taste, we ordered special fried rice, seafood hotpot, and combo appetizer with thai tea/milk tea. The food came out within 10 mins hot with good portions. The minus 2 stars is to show the owners/managers HIRE MORE PEOPLE. The awesome server was the only one serving/cleaning/taking orders. If this man who worked here at 6-730 while we were here on this date does not get 2 pay raises he NEEDS to quit cause they are abusing his sanity and work ethic.
I called in a to go order, got home and the noodles and meat were cold. I felt the bottom of both meals and felt as if it was pre -made and then refrigerated I open the containers and all the food was stiff and barely thawed the only thing that was warm was the broth. To spend $40 for 2 meals I'd expect my food to be freshly cooked or at the least warmed up. I'm completely dissatisfied!!! The people working there were friendly though.
We went to get pho and decided to dine in. They weren't very busy (maybe 2 other tables) but I think they had a lot of take out orders. We waited one hour for 2 bowls of pho. The soup was good but we were a bit to frustrated with the wait to enjoy it much. When we first sat it took 20 minutes to bring our beverages and when I tried to ask for a refill it was another 25min:(I would recommend take out only for here.
si good food.. nice service
First I have to say I'm shocked this place has so many high reviews. We showed up hopeful for good food and service after seeing the reviews. We ordered our food and I ordered one carmelized pork pot to go as well. The waiter who was all by himself on a saturday never asked us if we wanted anything to drink. After taking our order he brought out water when he brought our food 45 minutes later. Except he brought out the wrong food for me and said it was coconut beef. It was not coconut beef but looked like a messed up lemongrass beef. No offer by the waiter to try and make things right etc just walked away. So my GF waited another 30 minutes for the waiter to finally bring my food out and we began to eat. My crab rolls barely had a trace of crab and I couldn't taste the crab and they were slightly over cooked. My calimari had way too much breading on it and the flour had way too much salt. I couldn't taste the calamari I could only taste flour and salt. My crepe was not a viet crepe but more like a Spanish cornmeal pancake and was overly cooked and super greasy. The shrimp that were inside my crepe still had the shells on them. My GF's veggie pho had a bunch of ingredients in it that dont belong like green beans, red bell pepper, bamboo shoots etc etc and was also super salty. Neither of us finished our meals 2hrs later we asked for our check and had to wait another 10mins to get it. When we got our check he brought out the same incorrect food he tried to give me the first time. I think I had an msg overdose. After we left I couldn't stop drinking tea as my thirst was unquenchable. I drank tea till midnight and was bloated from doing so. Not only was the food not good and prepared incorrectly but the service wasnt good either. We should have went to Lucky Corner instead.
been eating here since it was lucky corner. i live literally a block away so it’s my go-to for takeout. cheap with good portions. staff is always amazing. best thai tea in the city. i try to bring out-of-town friends here whenever i can, and it’s always a hit. their fruit mints are so good, i’m not sure of the flavor but i’ve been trying to find them online and order them in bulk because i love them so much. pro tip: if you’re ordering curry ask for a second thing of rice to get the perfect rice:curry ratio
Been dining here for a couple of years. Very friendly staff. Very good food. Very good service. Ask Server for multiple special requests he delivered. A+
