I would never go back here even though the location is great - right in downtown along Carroll Creek. The food was bad - we both got the fajitas which are supposed to come out steaming but it came out lukewarm at best and the chicken tasted like rubber. Was barely worth it to pack it to go. Service was just okay but I think they are short staffed so can't blame them there. I did like the taste of the salsa.
Unfortunately, this was the worst Mexican restaurant I have visited. Overall, food ranged from bland to offensive in taste and texture. Drinks were overly sweetened with syrups. The salsa is shredded tomatoes and barely anything else, guacamole had zero taste, the queso haunts me...it looked and tasted like vomit.Staff was friendly and the location is great but neither of these points are a reason to visit a restaurant.
OK Menu, a bit overpriced for the quality of food. Had better from some of the food trucks that pop up around Frederick.
Went here with friends because the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. The drinks were good, the salsa was different but had a nice kick, that is where the good things stopped. The food was lackluster at best. The carnitas were tough and somehow salty. The tostada was all lettuce. The burritos didn’t have any flavor. Even the fries for the kids were salty. I would waste you money when there are better options in Frederick.
Staff was very helpful and courteous. Presentation of food was OK. My husband wasn't blown away, but I thought the food was good for the price. Margaritas were a hit!
Have to give a shout out to Kelly. Super positive and super friendly! She was totally in tune with us. I felt like she was part of our table. It was a long wait for a Tuesday because the upstairs was not open. Kelly was well worth the wait and a gem.
Excellent service and friendly staff. The chips and Salsa was very unique and I liked them very much. The main meals were just ok, think they could improve and incorporate more ethnic flavor to the meals. For example, the burrito had mozzarella cheese which typically is not part of a burrito. Still, a popular place!
Service was great. Friendly. Salsa was shredded tomato without much taste. Chips were great. Queso was ok, not great. Ground Beef Tacos and Burritos were good.
One of the worst meals I've had in a long time. Poor recipes. Makes Taco Bell look top drawer and that's really saying something. Was great in the late eighties. Not sure it's even the same place.
