This one of the most inconsistent thai restaraunts ever, sometimes you'll have a decent experience, but the food never comes out the same way twice, whether it be every noodle stuck together in a giant ball, undercooked or overcooked pork belly (seriously have never had it cooked correctly from here). Pad thai and pad ki mao have a 90% chance of ending up in one solid mass, dry, or fused together. There are other thai places in frederick and I would suggest any of them over this place, kittiwat's food is bland and boring comparatively. The panang curry from here is too sweet, without the oil on top that you would see from a real thai curry, I recently had that same type of curry from a thai place downtown and was immediately taken back by how much better it was. I feel like kittiwatt has hit an all time low and I certainly don't want to eat here again.
I ordered carry out, and it was ready quickly, packaged well, and had some "bonus" potstickers. The order was correct, hot, and the food was superb!! Among the best Thai food I have ever eaten. I don't normally leave reviews, but this place is excellent if you're in the mood for Thai.
Walked in tonight at 8:00 p.m. knowing that they closed at 9:00 so my family and I figured we’d have enough time, especially because we already knew what we wanted. Walked in and was immediately turned away from dining in. Though we were told we could take out, the restaurant was almost full and they had tables who hadn’t even had their food yet. The excuse he gave was that they were closing soon and the kitchen was closing early. I just want to know how we, the only black people in the restaurant could order to go, but not sit down to eat like every one else. Horrible customer service, and it felt extremely targeted.
Super delicious crab rangoon! I literally have to make sure to get enough for my whole household. I tried the pineapple fried rice on another trip, it was ok. Love the Thai tea. I love the presentation, and how you can decide how much of each ingredient you want in your tea. The tea ice cubes are a cute addition. They have excellent customer service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. That's in person or on the phone.
So I had my first experience at this restaurant about three weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing granite I came in probably an hour before closing. The service was amazing and fast I mean we sat down ordered had our appetizers within 10-15 minutes our main courses came immediately after I dropped a fork and it was like seconds later I had a new fork on the table. And the alcoholic beverages are amazing I had one drink I couldn’t even tell it has alcohol in it at all.Highly recommend if you want to try Thai food or just eat some amazing Thai food here in Frederick.
Best Thai in Frederick! Try all the curries, then make your way through the rest of the menu. Friendly staff serving hot, fast, delicious food and drinks. We’ve been to every Thai place in the area but come back to Kittiwat at least once a week.
I really like this restaurant but one bad thing about this menu is “SPICY BASIL” and “SPICY BASIL FRIED RICE”.Had this issue two times whenever I order Spicy Basil fried rice I was given Just Spicy Basil.Then I called to confirm the response I received was both are just the same, you can mix it up and eat. ??.You either need to give training to the waitress over the phone to confirm again or you guys need to update the menu.Overall I really like this place and food. Just sharing My personal experience.Thank you and no offense.
The food has always been great. Called in an order through Uber eats. I then called this joint and requested for few sauces which are literally in 0.5 oz box each. They charged me $5 and never ever gave those sauces. I called them and they apologized and they said that they can’t refund and I have to figure out with Uber. First and foremost when I am spending close to $90, condiments should come in free as a freaking “courtesy” and not at a charge and if they are charged, they better than have the courtesy of making sure they actually make sure to send them in when there is a big note written on the receipt. Too bad! Chef great food! Customer service sucks!
Had lunch today and it was a great experience.FOOD: Fresh rolls, Papaya salad and Green curry (huge portion, so didn't have room for dessert). Everything was very tasty and fresh.SERVICE: they were very busy and it could take longer if we'd wait for menu and etc., but we ordered our favorites right from the start, so for us it wasn't long wait, and have to say the kitchen works very efficiently.AMBIANCE: modern and hard surfaced everywhere, so could be very noisy.VALUE: really great for the experience received.DEFFINITELY coming back when in the area.
Great food but impossible to order over phone. Often the call will not go through or no one picks up. Customers can’t ask questions or give spice level instructions etc. I often end up driving out to Thai Meric but wish I didn’t have to go so far.
