Singlehandedly the best pizza place I have ever had the pleasure of frequenting.Their pizza is unbelievably delicious and comes in so many different variations that you will never tire of eating here. They have a big sign saying "Voted best pizza and wings in Frederick" and this is not a gimmick. This is the best pizza in Frederick and is most likely the best pizza in Maryland. Next day pizza can often be a disappointment, but I firmly believe that this pizza might even be better the next day. Throw it into an air fryer and enjoy round two of the best slice you'll have in years.Their wings are also amazing and deserve some praise as well... so give them a shot too if you're feeling extra sassy.
First time getting pizza in Frederick. Chose this place because of the reviews. Mistake. We got the San Giorgio and it was horrible. Tasteless with no flavor, no Italian seasoning, no pepperoni taste, nothing. The crust was limp and undercooked. I had better pizza in Ormond Beach from a chain Five Star Pizza. If you are looking for good pizza stay tuned, as I will try and find an authentic pizza, like I had in Italy.
I always come here for their meat lovers, funnel cake fries, wings, pizza bread and try their pizzas with white sauce. Sometimes when I come here to pick up food the location itself gets pretty packed. Food is always accurate and prices are reasonable
The best pizza in the area. If you order a large, I would suggest having them cook it well done. They are almost always busy, but service is very good and the wait on food is never too long.Wings are fresh and don't disappoint.Staff are pleasant and friendly. A local favorite.
My son and our mutual friend have raved about the place for years and I must say the food was quite good. Located in a strip shopping center, it had a small bar with a dining area next to it as well as some outdoor seating in front of the restaurant. Though it seems to be touted as a pizza place, the menu had a lot of options. The onion rings were about as good as I have had, very thick with an interesting slightly sweet batter and great buttermilk type dipping sauce. The carnivore pizza was very good loaded with pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, ham and bacon. The bottom crust could have been cooked a little more crispy, but with this amount of toppings, we have found out in the past this happens often. Look forward to a return trip. Good quick friendly service.
This is a cool and low key place
had pizza and wings on superbowl Sunday. Even though the line foe pick up was put the door, my food was done correctly and didn't look like it was rushed. Very tasty
Very good ?? Pizza ? great service. really enjoyed it with my family
Great food and always great service
I’ve lived in Frederick for a long time and always loved Il Forno’s Pizza. The food here always had its unique and delicious flavors. However, when my kids and I ordered delivery from here last night it was horrible. The pizzas did not have that bubbly toasted crust…they were flat and lame. The middle of the pizzas were doughy. The ingredients didn’t taste like they used to either. The onions were chunky and undercooked, the veggie pizza looked like school pizza, the bacon was extremely salty and not smoky at all, and the sauce tasted like it came from a jar or can. The appetizer combo was not battered the way it used to be, was soaked in grease, and the mozzarella sticks tasted like they came from a freezer bag. Honestly, it was disgusting…I could get better food from Little Caesar’s. My total was $70+change and I tipped the driver $18+change for the drive. I feel like I was robbed of $90. I might try it again if convinced it was one time event but it will take convincing. Otherwise, this place has taken a dive and we will not eat here again. If it’s under new ownership or management, then the new people need to find a love for food and step up their game. Terrible experience! ??
