You can always rely on Hunan to get it right. Every time I order they are friendly and respectful and each dish I’ve tried is spot on. Tonight I ordered delivery and the driver waited to make sure I got my food and was friendly. When I dug in, I was pleasantly surprised by upgraded packaging and my favorite dish (the orange chicken) was next level! Refer to the picture. Looked even better in person. Right now there is no dine-in, only take out. We ordered vegetarian dishes and they were super! Fresh, good taste, friendly service. Will come back next time I'm in town!
The customer service in this place is non existent. The lady at the front desk lacks manners. Her attitude was simply ATROCIOUS!! I will never come here again.I also ordered bubble tea, and it was horrible. It literally made me feel so nauseous afterwards. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Ordered online and it was ready when I got there. The chicken pad Thai is great! We also tried bubble tea for the first time and it was really good.
I have order many of time from this place. It actually one of my favorite Chinese spots in Frederick. But the individual who was taking my order was very rude when I called, accused me of arguing with them(which i would never arguewith anyone making my food). After trying to explain I canceled my order an was hung up on.
The beef with mixed vegetables is great! I have ordered delivery from this restaurant a few times and I am very satisfied.
The food is normally great. Service is great. The beef in the beef and Broccoli is some nasty fake pressed meat. Nasty. Get some real beef please. Marinate some top round or even some rump. I did not eat it.
Hunan beef was very tough and it had a strange soapy taste. Not pleasant !
Just ordered online delivery! Hunan Gourmet is the only Chinese place I order from. I used to go to China Garden with family but since they closed I had to find a new spot I could depend on for great service and quality food. Hunan never disappoints and they always deliver in a convenient time frame. They always get my order correct and pack it in the bag with care. The food is always hot and ready to eat, I never have to reheat it like some delivery places. I got the Mu Shi chicken, pancakes, fried rice and Szechwan string beans. It is so delicious and I am so pleased that I wanted to leave a review! I have worked in the food industry for years and am getting my culinary hospitality degree and enjoy quality restaurants like this. I recommend trying Hunan Gourmet as I find it incredibly satisfying every time and they also have a huge array of veggie dishes for vegetarians and vegans!
I had an excellent time in this place. We liked the superb ambience and the menu. The staff members are super amiable. I am content we ultimately managed to visit this spot.
