I picked up food here on a snowy Saturday, I appreciate that they were open. I had a slice of meatball pizza which was delicious. I had a #2 cold sandwich but I realized I did not like the Italian dressing they put on it or the pickle which was placed on the sandwich. (I hate pickles and the juice which got on the sandwich). The bread was very soft and tasty. My Dad loves the meatball sandwiches.
Presentation was nice. Too bad the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through. Not sure what changed in this restaurant but the food quality and the food service has definitely gone down
Hero's once had the best meatballs. As they degraded, Ispoke to the owner who expressed his apologies for his new chef/ recipe. For a while they were ok, but today's order consists of three, obviously frozen dense balls reminiscent of bologna. I'm sorry the owner has ignored the decline. Also, the cheesesteak pizza had large chunks of gross stewed meat, not sliced thinly as every previous time. Tough to chew. PS After many orders, we give up. Time to find the elusive good MD pizza and sub place.
Ordered a very expensive steak and cheese. Was the sloppiest and soggiest sub I’ve ever had. It was nearly a meat soup.
We pre-ordered and paid for $150 worth of food to be ready for a luncheon we were hosting. The manager stated she would have our order ready before they opened. Which was really accommodating. However, when we went to pick up our order, no one was at the restaurant. The place was dark and no one answered the phone. No one ever called us back and we had to go to the restaurant for a full refund. What is disappointing is we depended on this place to cater a luncheon with guests. Which put us in a bind. Very very disappointed!
Pizzas are very fresh and light. I really like the sandwiches too... high quality meats and lots of it.
Friendly service good food. I had a meatball and onion pizza the caesar salad and a desert. Pizza was good nothing to write home about but good. The cheesecake was good a little on the sweet side for my taste and should have probably been $2 less for the portion size. $3 happy hour makes it definitely worth a return.
Steak pizza yummy and fresh!!!Reuben also really good. Nothing too greasy. A little more thousand island on my Reuben otherwise grrrrreat! Would give 5 but we all have room for improvement. Lol
I’ve heard good things about this place so we gave it try. Ordered delivery from DoorDash. Arrived super fast and the pizza is amazing! Definitely our new go to place for pizza!!!
Came across Hero’s while doing a google search of places for dinner near me. We decided to give it a try. We ordered a couple of pizzas, a salad and the Salmon Rosé pasta. Love love loved them all. With such a quaint little place with yummy yummy food so close to us, we have found our neighborhood restaurant. The kids loved it! Mommy and Daddy loved it! What more can we ask for, except to pray and hope that the food and the customer service stays consistently good. We wish Hero’s lots of success??
