First time ordering here, I got a chicken burrito with chips and queso. The chips were pretty good, I think they are better than chipotle. I was extremely disappointed with the queso. It tasted like they got a jar of cheese from giant and just put it in the microwave. And it was insanely runny. The queso from cafe rio and chipotle are miles better than this. The burrito was alright, nothing special. Didnt have much flavor to it at all. I just got the standard burrito. I would put cafe rio and chipotle miles ahead of california tortilla and if you come here, just beware the queso is extremely mid
Stopped by today for a burrito and a bowl. Both were overloaded with rice and not much else. Very little meat, veggies, or lettuce. Would normally say it was just a bad day, but sad to say this is the second time in a month this has happened. Hello? Management? Is anyone listening? Time to fix what's broke.
Great selection for plant based eating! The service is good and food ingredients are always fresh and appetizing to look at.
Way over priced for what I got. Tacos were a sloppy mess and barley had any meat. Not worth 13$ for 3 tacos. You could go to a authentic Mexican restaurant for that price.
How does this place stay in business? The food was horrible, sloppy, and cold. Nothing good about it. The restaurant was dirty and unwelcoming. I won't be back. $11 for a slop mess that I can't even eat. Never again!
Service was great. Friendly cashier. Food was wonderful. Very fresh, made to order. Prices were reasonable, portions generous.
We ate there yesterday and as always, loved the good, fresh food. However, we were AMAZED at the number of people (not yet seated to eat) unmasked. At one point I counted 9 people coming in to order, standing in line, with no mask. And staff did not say anything to them. Sadly, we won't be going back until this is corrected.
I got home and started to eat, when I discovered a long strand of hair (approximately 12 inches lon). I called the restaurant to let them know about my experience. I asked the manager if they were required to wear hair nets. He said no. I drove 4.6 miles to return a California Sreamin bowl and get a refund. I know the pandemic has been hard on everyone, but Maryland law says you have to wear a cap or hair net when working in a restaurant. Especially, during the pandemic.
I came in fairly late and yet the service was excellent and my burrito was the best I had there in months
I liked the food I got here.
