Love the food and the employees at this location are fantastic! However, the last few days, every time I try to order through the app. All I get is "loading". Is there an issue with the app. Or do you have any suggestions.
I really enjoy eating here. the dining area is always clean, the cooking area is mostly in full view and while it's chaotic and it's never dirty or grubby. the food is simply Delicious and just bought all the servers have big old smiles on their faces!! the drinks are great and the portion sizes never leave you wanting if anything you'll walk out of there with the one you eat and the one you'll take home!! recommend the place very yummy and very fresh
It was ok. It was my first time there and they were not accommodating to the questions i had. There was no one in line at first but then the crowd came and it was like what do you want. I barely got any meat on my nachos and when I asked for more she was not happy.I don't think I'll go there again or recommend it to anyone. Just an oner all negative experience
When Cafe Rio is good, it is great. They have the capacity for excellent food that is in my opinion superior to similar fast casual Mexican restaurants. However, as I have come to this establishment over the years, I have seen an overall decline in experience.My most recent visit, I was extremely disappointed in the amount of meat that was given for my tacos. Truthfully, it was less than half of what it had been in the past. I realize that measuring out meat by a person trying to quickly move the line could prove difficult, but this was an extremely meager portion. This is not a one time experience either, I have noticed a distinct decline in portion size over the years. As the prices of the main dishes have increased, the standard allotted meat portion has decreased, it just gives a poor impression. In addition, they have implemented a policy where certain dishes don't come with sour cream, that is now extra. I understand Guacamole being extra, but being charged for a dollop of sour cream is ridiculous.I hope Cafe Rio can return to being more generous with their customers, I miss the meals I used to have there.
The food is good but they're online menu ordering is atrocious, and their phone app keeps crashing when I try to pay. The most annoying part though is the big difference in the menu custom choices using the online ordering verses using the app to order...Obviously they don't give a rat's rump about the customer being able to easily spend their money...
We stayed at the Townplace Suites within walking distance from this restaurant. We were looking for a quick meal in between activities and this place did not disappoint. This was our first time eating at this chain. They offer a good selection of meals and you can customize everything. We were able to get in and out fast and the food was really good.
I've eaten here for lunch 3 times, the previous two times were great, but today was not good. Did not eat today until Cafe Rio -- Immediately had to run to the toilet after eating the quesadilla with the roast beef. I know that the quality of ingredients must be okay normally since I've eaten here before (once got a burrito and another time enchiladas) with no issues. Please be careful with food safety.
This is my son's favorite place, today he tells me mom you can take me there are tacos especially today.... I only take it the food is delicious but the person who was in the food line did not provide the best service. She was all bitter and reluctantly putting the food on the tray, the cashier she was charging apologized for her partner's attitudes. I hope to have a better experience on another occasion.
I went to cafe Rio today, I’ve been going to this location for years never had issue. Never seen this cashier before. But anyways, I asked for my receipt and cashier cici(old tall big brown skin girl with color contacts) got smart and said you need to wait for it to print and come out. I asked her why she had attitude and she got defensive and said she didn’t have one then proceed to say I had one. I then asked for her name and she refused to give me her name and said she didn’t have too. I said okay, can you call the manager. She said no, go get the manager yourself. So I had to ask another employee to get manager, and when he came. He didn’t acknowledge or apologize. He didn’t listen and instead kept saying how great of a cashier cici was and how she was the best. So I said, you’re not going to talk to the employee ? He said no. Cici also pulled out her phone tried to take pictures of me, and also was cussing at me right in front of the manager LOUIS. Never felt so disrespected in my life. Then I asked Louis for corporate number and as I got to my car, called corporate and it was wrong number. He gave me the wrong number. Will not be coming back. I’ll drive the hour to different location to go to cafe Rio instead of dealing with the disrespect. I take a picture after the fact, of the cashier.
I wanted to see what the hype was about.Extremely disappointed, the steak burrito came out to be 22 dollars with guac and sauce. Small portion sizes. Steak burnt. Overall, a very mediocre burrito.For reference, the Cheescake Factory burrito is 18.50.It’s back to Chip for me…
