Gathered there for a family lunch. The interior looked like a newly renovated pub with a touch of up scale modern. Glass walls looked out at the Old Town streets. The food was basic bar food with an upscale foo foo touch. Good, but not great. Their craft beer selection was tasty, but not extensive. There was a good crowd that all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Great beer

Dropped in on Friday early evening to see if the brew compares to other local watering holes. Found plenty of servers, no waiting, and plenty of seats waiting for the after work start weekend early crowd.Bar is straight back past hostess station. Barstools ready for thirsty customers and why I came, fresh brew IPA on tap. Not quite selection of the 20 tap place nearby but decent "high octane" pale are and nut brown ale on menu. Noticed others were enjoying mixed cocktail ? in plastic tubas, for what reason in beer bar, remains to be seen. The usual bar food as well as extensive choices awaits the hungry. Keeping it simple went with tavern burger ?. Along with adequately cooled pale ale, burger and fries (skinny kinda like frozen grocery store variety) with generic ketchup were well received. On medium burger was seared nicely outside and juicy inside just the way its designed to be. Another draft later and despite asking for the same pale ale, got nut brown instead. The bar maid needed refresher on how to distinguish between the lighter and darker shades of brew.. But hey it's Friday night ? in Frederick and what do you expect... Overall decent food and brew despite what other reviewers described. Just keep expectations at eye level and go with it. I hear there's a rooftop seating area to enjoy downtown Frederick skyline which is surprisingly beautiful this time of year. Just stick to the plan. It's a beer bar, bar food. From there sky's the limit.

Nice place to stop for lunch on a Saturday mid afternoon. Crowded but there were a few tables available. Liked the option of ordering a 5oz beer to sample different stouts and porters before committing to a full 16oz.Even ordered a growler to go of the porter.

The only bad thing about this place is their terrible way of removing food from the menu with typical covid excuses. They have an amazing pizza selection and a BLT Club that is to die for.. really, put one in my casket when I go!!!! The drinks are strong and delicious.. the blt is huge and has onions and avocado. You can never go wrong with avocado. The wood fire pizzas are really good. The vibe here is great fir hanging out with friends and family, and if you want to bri g a date... they have more than enough room with a few different views for eating!!! Don't miss this downtown gem!!!

Stoped in for lunch on the recommendation of the visitors bureau. We were seated right away but it was a little while before anyone came over to wait on us. She took our orders, I got the Mac and cheese and my husband had the lump crab cake sandwich. My Mac and cheese was okay, it seemed as if the just put pasta in a bowl and put the cheese on top and put it in the oven. It did have a good flavor, but there was not a lot of cheese on the pasta itself, just hard, baked cheese on the top of the pasta itself. The crab cake was very good as well as the fries that came with it. The price of the crab cake sandwich was listed as marker price, which turned out to be $29. So, if this concer The waitress did not not stop back to check on us after we got our food, but luckily, everything was alright. We would consider stopping back in next time we are in the area.

Good local and seasonal beer selection. Service was prompt and food was satisfying consisting of Pete's BBQ and a Turkey Bacon Ranch Wrap.

This place is incredible. Love the crush and apple cider mimosa, very good. The chicken and waffles also really good. Mac and cheese was good too (but kamikaze not that good). The brussels sprouts are also amazing and we enjoyed the crab dip but wish there were more pita chips! Overall, can’t wait to come back.

I do not drink alcohol but we had dinner here and the food was very good. The service could have been better as the waiter served the appetizer without plates or utensils to enjoy it. When he finally arrived with the plates and utensils our appetizer was cold. He also took forever to take my credit card and complete the transaction.Otherwise the food and prices are very good. The sauce on my wife's pasta was excellent. My meal, meatloaf, was very good too.I would highly recommend this place for food but be sure to leave enough time for the slow service.

I got chicken and waffles, slightly dry and overcooked. Husband ate the meatloaf which he said tasted better than it looked. Would go back for the beer.
