Odd place that calls itself a bar. I asked for an "Old Fashioned". I was told they don't keep bitters, primary ingredient so many drinks. I finally ordered vodka and tonic. Sad. Food was mediocre at best, baked potatoes were cold, and actually not cooked enough. Salad was good. Wait staff was very good. Would not recommend food.
I ordered the sliders (burger and tri-tip) and they’re both supposed to be covered in toppings. As you can see. Dry as the Sahara. This is so disgusting. And whoever made this knew it was. If you see an order come through like this I know you double and triple check it to make sure you’re not mistaken. This was just plain lazy and extremely immature. You can’t mistake seeing this on a ticket bc nowhere on the ticket did it say “NO __ NO __ NO __ NO __” if you don’t see no all over the ticket then everything goes on the order. But you knew this. Just do your job.
Absolute embarrassment of a restaurant. The time to sit at a table was 45 minutes over the estimated wait time. The AC was not working in a 95 degree day. It felt like a sauna. After we sat down, it took an hour to get our food, and my father had to wait an extra 15 minutes because of a messed up order. Terrible service. The staff had the expression on their face that they wanted to go home. The food was cold, and was pitifully disappointing. I recommended to try this BJ’s because of my prior experience in a different location, and this was an utmost joke of a restaurant. Given my experience at this location, I would rather recommend McDonald’s for a better sit down dining experience.
Been 3 years since our last visit... probably going to be about 3 more. Our server took just over 10 minutes to greet us... but after that... SHE WAS AWESOME. Sadly... she had to bring us food that was prepared at B.J.s.Apps: calamari was small, burnt, and a tad fishy, the hallmark of old seafood. BUT, the marinara was just a hint on the spicy side. It made the app tolerable.Fish and chips: fries... old and cold. Fish... old and tasted like it.Ceaser Salad: Flavorless.Flat pizza: maybe the best thing at the table.Ryan's "Medium burger" (note "medium" between my fingers) was chard black several centimeters deep. Asked for them to recook it and the result was Solid grey all the way through. (Cremated)Server was very apologetic... but bad food trumps good service. The place has way too many hard surfaces. Its loud. The "pendant lighting" guarantees that maybe, one person at the table can actually read the menu.Update:Our server was on her game.Food was still... Well... Would probably stop somewhere else.
Food and drinks were good. First time having a mojito so can’t compare to others but seemed fine. My only complaint is that we waited a little bit to be seated because there was no host. Our waiter was super friendly and actually seated us.
The food is so good here. There is an extensive gluten free menu, including dessert!, and they always get my order right, and safe for me to eat. My non gluten free family says the rest of the menu tastes great too.
Good atmosphere and good food ..
Went there on 04/11/22 at 19:35. Ordered the mushroom cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich. Ask that burger be medium rare. The wait to get the food was terrible. When the burger came it was totally WELL DONE and dry, It also did not have the special sause on it. The chicken sandwich was also very dry. The french fries for both foods were cold. The service was very slow. Bottom line, we should have went to Mcdonalds were the burger and chicken sandwichs are way better than the food at BJ's!!!!!!!!!
Overall just not a good experience. We had reservations for 8 people but the table they picked was definitely not for made for 8 and we are all pretty average size people. Maybe 8 kids comfortably. I just want to start with our waiter, was nice and showed empathy throughout the night. All 3 1/2 hours. A dinner that should’ve been at most 2 hours. Sadly I feel like he was being over worked. He had way too many tables to deal with that he wasn’t able to check on us as offered. Took 20+ minutes to get any drink. We waited 45-1 hour for our food and when we did get it it was cold.. empty cups weren’t removed from the table without being asked. Food.. I feel like everything had the potential to be really good but it was all cold and one sandwich had an avocado that was just rubber and not edible. I feel like this could’ve been such a great experience if they would’ve staffed correctly or at the least if they didn’t have enough staff members they shouldn’t have seated so many people. I am very disappointed in how BJs is being run and feel bad for the staff for probably being overwhelmed with responsibilities with little to no help.
The rating is based on the total experience, not the service or the drinks. I have gone 2 times now in the past month. Both times, the service has been great; it always has; however, the salads... Well, the salads leave a lot to be desired. The lettuce is wilted and not crispy. It has a bad taste, and both times, I did not even finish. As I stated, the service is great, yet it went unnoticed both times that I barely touched my salads. Less than half eaten. The drinks are good, and they have some good beers. The other food is good. I think I will just have to stop getting salads here.
