We had our first visit to Big Papi’s today and it was INCREDIBLE! No issues with wait time or our order. We ordered Birria nachos and Carne Asada tacos. The nachos were huge, with a ton of meat! Best authentic Mexican food we’ve had! Staff was very friendly. Can’t wait for our Father’s Day feast from Big Papi’s this weekend!
The food is delicious but wait time is slow. Every time I have ordered from here there has been something missing or incorrect which is frustrating. If you're lucky you'll catch the mistake before you leave with the food but there's always the disappointing realization once you get home that something else is missing. Called the restaurant to have it remedied, went and picked up the replacement and to my shock when I got home the order was STILL missing items. Staff is friendly though and has always offered to fix their mistakes.
Waited over an hour passed pick up time, poorly managed. As it’s pick up only you’d think they’d be better at it. Highly disappointed, I don’t have that kind of time to waste, I don’t mind a wait with an accurate pickup quote time.
I’ve never seen a staff so lost. The only person doing anything was the cook. The females working seemed confused and didn’t know where the food already brought out went—they kept opening and closing the food boxes. Most of the time, the females are seen playing with the bags.We drove an hour and 10 minutes because we heard this was a good spot. We waited for over 30 minutes, as people before us were still waiting for their food. It’s a very unorganized system they have in place. No one attempted to help the cook as he was overwhelmed with online orders.I probably won’t return to this place and stick to my local taco spots.
Oh my goodness, how did I not find this place sooner? The birria burrito was SO flavorful. The Mexican street corn was awesome and the CHURROS, SO good.
Tried this for the first time tonight and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the kid’s quesadilla with fries (free on the menu) and my daughter loved it! Carne Asada and Tinga Tacos were so flavorful and delicious. I especially loved how tender the Tinga (chicken) tacos were and it was submerged in flavor! The Rock Fish Taco was great. Also, the horchata was refreshing. We will definitely be coming back.
This place has the most delicious birria tacos in the area. The chicken tinga quesadilla is delicious! It's definitely worth the price!
Great food & staff. There is something there for the whole family to enjoy. I ordered the tinga tacos & added guacamole & cheese, it tasted amazing. The street corn was great too. Prices are a little higher than some other area restaurants but worth it for the quality & service you get from Big Papi's. I hope one day they get to expand more & offer seating inside/outside.

Location is a little bit out of the way but it was worth it. My wife and I got several different tacos to try and they were all good. The birria with dipping sauce, the signature Big Papi and the carne asada were all perfect.
