This place isn't just hype it has to be the best bakery I have tried in frederick. After having it me and my wife just want to go back again to get more. Sure you have to wait in line for quite a while but it was so worth it and it was also cheaper than the other place we would normally go to before discovering here. The crescents and and Danish were a must have. The crescents were light and buttery and the Danish was bursting with flavor in every bit. This place is becoming a staple place for us to go to.
Bakehouse is truly in of the greatest additions to downtown. I tend to go during the week to avoid the well deserved lines during the weekend. This is THE bakery of Frederick. I’ve been back and will keep coming back. Can’t go wrong!
Today was the 1st time the line wasn't around the block so we hurried to park & we were met with friendly service. The ladies were very patient, thankfully, because the kids were so excited they wanted everything (and so did I)! So far we've loved the chocolate pistachio croissants & cheddar scones. The plain croissants, danish, and cinnamon breakfast muffin will have to wait... At least until snack time!
I can’t believe I’ve put off coming here for so long! The chocolate pistachio croissant and salted caramel brownie were unbelievable. I was going to save one for later but I could resist. I’m definitely visiting more frequently and earlier so I can snag some other pastries before they’re all gone in the morning!
This Bakehouse is amazing! Quality and flavor superb! What a great gem to bless Frederick! Thank you Bakehouse! My wife doesn’t cheat (on her diet) that often. But I surprised her with the amazing Lemon Raspberry Croissant and Maple Pecan Sticky Bun yesterday! The joy (and lemon cream) that oozed all over her face was so worth it! Thanks again!
Great selections and the portions are huge. The Boston creme croissant is messy to eat, but sooooo worth it! They pack everything well and it really impressed the team that I brought goodies to yesterday. This is my favorite bakery for breakfast goodies.
Croissants are amazing. We tried them all. Only negative is that everything good sells out by 9am. Would be nice if they produced enough to last a little longer for those who can't make it there that early. Be prepared for line.
Monkey bread and pecan bun are awesome. Super friendly service.
