Not sure what changes between now and last year but it got a lot better. Went with my family and the service was excellent, used to be not so great.The food was great, the sides were really good, the new menu was better and the service was perfect. Really kind people and loved the side dishes. Would recommend the bibimbap. We'll come back for sure.
First time here recently for lunch. They give a good variety of delicious “ban chan” (complimentary sides)! The LA Galbi (short ribs) was so DELICIOUS and well marinated/flavored!!! Also tried the Gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup)—that was just okay, not as flavorful as I would like, and the broth was liquidy.Service was great—staff were pretty friendly. Food came out fairly quick too!
Food was really REALLY delicious. Dined in and took out on several occasions. Everything ordered so far was on point, from the flavor, sauces, to the rice.The portions, especially the side dishes, are plenty - there are many establishments that skimp on the portions but this restaurant is very generous.Service was very good as well - attentive staffs, water was always filled.I would definitely return and order takeout.Happy to have found this place.
Best Korean food ever. All food is very authentic after eating here. We had tried many Korean restaurants from the west coast to the east. I have to say they are very generous in providing side dishes to customers. We love this place and definitely will Come back again!
Having grown up in Ellicott City and been all along Route 40, I know that this area has never been short on quality Korean restaurants. The new (i.e. newly managed) Woori Jib, however, is definitely a welcome addition. Came here a week ago with a large group and the staff and service were wonderful with accommodating us (30+, although we did call ahead of time to make sure they could fit all of us in). The seafood pancake was crispy and delicious, the soups and stews were piping hot with flavorful broths, and the cold noodles! Absolutely one of the favorites we tried. On top of that, they drown you in an endless stream of tasty side dishes so that you're hitting all the spots on your taste buds, just like a proper Korean meal should. Loved coming here, and will be back again!
Terrible service. How do you only put in 2 orders and forget the other 4. Even asking a few times to check on the rest of the orders, and being told it'll be out soon. The waiter came back to say he actually forgot to add the orders. It would have been fine if they were sincere, but weren't. There was almost an hour between receiving the first 2 and the other 4. To top it off while I was trying to pay, they said not to worry I didn't have to tip.
Had a great experience dining at Woori Jib for lunch today. The food was delicious (get the naengmyun and galbi combo or kimchi jjigae!!) and the service was so friendly. Their portion sizes are pretty generous too so come hungry.We'll definitely be back to dine again this summer when we're in the Ellicott City area!!
Great food and service, exceeded our expectations! Portions were very generous, and everything we ordered was fresh and tasted clean. Will definitely come again on the regular.
Just tried woorijib after hearing the management recently changed a couple months ago. I’m so glad I did! Even as someone not fluent in Korean, I had no issues with the menu or ordering bc of how friendly and attentive the staff was. The food was delicious and they didn’t skimp on the ingredients or portions! This is where authentic Korean food with good service is at!
Great place to go for some delicious Korean food!! Serving sizes are generous, staff is very friendly, service is quick. Our group ordered a bunch of items from the menu (spicy pork bone stew, dolsot bibimbap, nangmyun, seafood pancake, katsu) - all very good. Found out the restaurant switched hands a few months ago - check out this family-owned local business!
