We stopped in after a stroll down the Trolley Trail. Had a refreshing beer with fantastic service and there were lots of regulars sitting around having a chat. Very friendly and casual place to hang out. Looking forward to going back again.

Nice local pub with great service and good food. We visited Ellicott city in our way from Baltimore to Bethesda. We walked around the city and then decided to try Trolley Stop. The interior looks authentic. People working there are friendly and swift at helping and providing support. For starter we had the spinach dish and Cajun chicken. Daughter had the crab cakes main dish, wife onion soup and I had the steak. All were good, tasty and filling. We recommend it especially after walking or cycling the close by trail.

My first time eating at The Trolley Stop and it was definitely worth trying something new. It was so good. I’ve never had blueberry pancakes like that before. My omelette was made to perfection and the fries potatoes topped it off. The toast was so soft and didn’t even need butter. This is definitely now my to go to for carry out breakfast, especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The menu here is amazing. They have everything you could ever need or want. Good choices and also the drinks are nearby with a clean, vintage bar. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. I highly recommend if you are in need of a drink or a meal in the Ellicott city area. Close to the parks and trails too!

Great breakfast! Food wasn’t anything fancy, but wonderful atmosphere and cozy. Will return if the opportunity comes up.

Excellent service and delicious food. We will definitely be going back to this hidden gem.

This place is awesome ?. This was my first time there and the service was great. The food was great as well as the lady who served us. The other patrons were so friendly and courteous. The pictures and history behind this place were very intriguing. The food is very good and huge portions. A must try.

Great Place to EAT & CHILL while enjoying some local history! The place itself is a piece of Md history. Pretty sure it was built sometime after Cesar's reign Lol ~ But seriously Great place ~ Great Food ~ Amazing staff always friendly and courteous. If you're a soup person like myself, you'll luv this place. And most definitely one of the BEST French Dips in the area!

I had a wonderful experience at this cozy brick restaurant. The food was flavourful and didn't taste full of fake chemicals. It was genuine comfort food. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing and the aura of the place was welcoming. The service was honest and the people were kind and informing.Definitely a great place to go!5 Stars and I will return in time⭐

I visited The Trolley stop today for the first time, and I was amazed by the décor and the location. It had a rustic tavern feel as I entered. The staff and the other customers made me feel welcome right away. The coffee was delicious, and the food was outstanding for breakfast. I had the Western Omelet with a side of bacon, and it was a very large portion of eggs, home fries, and bacon. Did I mention large portions? Great service, great food, and great company made for a wonderful meal. I will definitely return!
