This was my first time ordering for take out -- The wings Buffalo style chicken wings were good; Onion rings were also good Beef Ends with Hot BBQ sauce were very mediocre. The sauce was a bit too thin and it made the beef ends soggy! And not sure if these were ends from the ribs!
I went there on a recommendation for some bomb bbq..decided to go today bcuz I was away from home and wanted some ‘grilled’ tasting bbq.I give them 2 stars bcuz the fries were ok..a bit greasy but they did have some flavor.Can’t say the same about the bbq ribs and chicken. Both were ENTIRELY flavorLESS. The chicken was colorless..no grill spots marks NOTHING..just light skinned. In my disappointment I just threw it away.They didn’t taste smoked..they didn’t taste or look seasoned and they definitely didn’t taste like bbq. It literally tasted like cooked meat with sauce on it.I only leave this review in hopes that there will be improvements. I regret having to leave such a poor review.
Heard good things about this place but wasn't all that impressed. I got the Pit Turkey, which was pretty dry and didn't have that much flavor. The fries were excellent though!
I'm new to the area and tried the St. Louis ribs at the Canopy for lunch on Friday. It was wonderful. Delicious food + friendly staff = many visits in the future! You won't be disappointed!

Omg! I was so excited when I saw the canopy & to know they're still around. My family & I would visit their location that was close to Westview Mall many years ago. The food was great then & it still is. I enjoyed the 2pc. Chicken w/ rib & strings beans and Potato Salad. It was so tender & delicious.? Can't wait to visit again.?
The BEST! I'd give more stars if I could. Every thing there is phenomenal. Staff rocks as well. I stop there EVERY time I'm in town from Ohio.

The Canopy is always great . I've been going to the Canopy for more then 25 years and it is always on point. Everything is fantastic. If your in the neighborhood , do yourself a favor and stop in .
Simple and good, always. This place provides exactly what you need from a counter-order bbq joint. It's an Ellicott City gem.
