Very average Italian-american restaurant. Not very authentic and I’d rather drive to DC or Baltimore for better. The mussels in white sauce were overpowered by white wine. The fruitti di mare seafood was not very fresh and pasta was forgettable. The spaghetti squash primavera wasn’t flavorful and the squash was still pretty hard. Also pretty expensive for the quality and service was pretty slow. The interior is very nice, which is surprising given the exterior. I’d only give them another chance to try the pizza which seemed to be the popular thing to get.
The service was very slow, waiting 45 minutes for our food. I believe the waitress forgot to put in ourorder. I complained about the delay and the manager gave me 10% off, $7.40. Frankly, the food was ok, but not for $80. My meat lasagna was cheese lasagna covered in meat sauce. I can live with that if it was good. Zero flavor. My family had a similar food experience. Disappointing.
New in town and found this gem. I got the chicken Parm and it was fantastic and a huge portion! Very friendly atmosphere and the owner personally came out to greet us. I felt very welcomed and can't wait to come back!
I had eaten here before, and was impressed with their fare and "vibe" of the place. I brought friends from out of town to show off this establishment, and the food was only mediocre. There were no other diners at the time, except for a food critic...who they sat us right next too. The critic was so loud and obnoxious during his "filming" of his food, with his loud dialogue and bright camera lights. We were dumbfounded that we were seated right next to him when the rest of the restaurant was empty. I was so embarrassed. Super bummed out
Tried this restaurant because of trip advisor reviews. Glad we did! The restaurant is right off rt 29 and rt. 40 in Ellicott City. The atmosphere is pleasant, quiet with great service. We started with a house salad and the field green salad with pears. Both were fresh and tasty. For entrees my wife had the salmon and I had the calves liver. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and were excellent. The restaurant has several specialty drinks and sangria's as well as a decent wine list. Will definitely return to try other dishes.
Not your chain restaurant operation but a locallyowned and operated dependable Italian eatery. The specialty dishes are unique and a delight. The atrium is softly lit for romantic coziness.
As always, a wonderful dinner. Great service, very welcoming. I always have a fantastic time time here.
I went to Stella Notte a few months ago and I was very happy with my experience..I got the seafood Mac and cheese and it was amazing..the service was very good. I had Kelsey as a server amd she was great!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks!! ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐
I can’t eat out as often as I used to because some food bothers my stomach. I have ordered food from this restaurant twice and not only was it very pleasing to the pallet, it was fresh, and note worthy. So happy to have found this spot.
Some of the best Italian food in the area, everything tastes homemade. Chicken Stella notte is my favorite along with their pizza! Great wine selection as well. This place is only open for limited hours so definitely call ahead for a reservation! Staff is very polite and professional.
