First time dining in and experience was great. I ordered the gimbab with spicy rice cakes and they were amazing. The place is very clean and well cared for. I have to say the only down side is the prices. For food they were mid but it was unbelievable how they charge a dollar per box. So I recommend not leaving alot of leftovers otherwise you’ll be paying more than what you came for. Clean up your own mess, they wont tolerate you leaving the dishes there on the table. Also make sure to pull the bathroom door handle up when exiting the mens bathroom (easier for lefties so righties take an L there.) The place has a Self zone where you get your spoons, forks, etc. It also has a tiny market where they sell candy, Korean chips, and extra rice cakes. Overall I had a good time.Area Hygiene: 9/10Food quality: 8/10Friendly environment level: 5/5Friendly Staff level: 4/5Overall rating: 4.33/5

The inside looks like a whole other world! Lots of seating, a little area where you can buy packaged food and snacks, and an ordering station. Super cute with a clear menu on the screens. We got the red bean or gold Bingsoo. Delicious! And it’s packed inside with people always coming in. I’d highly recommend!

Awesome authentic Korean mini food court. They sell a lot of Korean food here as well as desserts, namely patbingsu. The atmosphere is similar to those of Korean food court basements in Korean department stores. There is parking outside. This place is located on the second floor. They also sell packaged rice cakes and kimbap

Kimchi was great, and it has a nice atmosphere, but everything else was kind of bland. We got the beef dolsot bibimbap, bulgogi and rice, and bulgogi kimbap. It was all made from quality ingredients, but didn’t have the flavor punch I like in Korean food, and there weren’t sauce options out to add that flavor in.

Looks like they just renovated, it's nice and clean with plenty of tables for dine-in. I ordered the bulgogi bibimbap and my wife ordered her favorite spicy tofu. The food are delicious and the quantity is great. They also offer a lot of other dishes on the menu and we will definitely go back to try them all. Therer are some traditional Korean food and snacks for sale there. Overall great experience. We are happy that we found this place.

We ordered spicy tofu seafood soup and beef bibimpap. The food came quickly. They have a display in the room. When your food is ready, it rings and displays your order number, which is very helpful. Both dishes are tasty. Forgot to take photos. Definitely will come back.

Place refuses service even when you arrive within open hours. The places apparently closes at “8” pm nowadays but I was refused service as early as 7:30 pm. Last time I was refused, I was told to com before 7:30 pm; today I arrive before 7:15 pm and was still refused. The people that run the place are ridiculous…the excuse this time was that they ran out of all food…really??? When I told her that I’ll just have what’s available… her answer was that nothing is………Even if this was true, the condescending way that the lady explains this is just plain rude. Her question was, why I didn't call before I came…call??? why??? What would I have asked? Do you feel like accepting customers??? Is this what I need to check before I go here? Really, if you don’t want work, just close and stop wasting people’s time with misleading posted hours and ludicrous excuses.

Excellent Korean food. Will definitely go back.

Been going to the Annandale location since I was a kid so I was too excited when I found out there was a location in Ellicot City.Got there around 7 pm, an hr before closing, so the market/deli selection was limited to the shelf stable goods. Would like to go back and see their selection fully stocked, I'll update my review once I do.I got the ginseng chicken juk, it was good but a bit underseasoned. Doesn't matter either way since I needed something to cure my recovering cold (and homesickness). My partner had the bulgogi rice, pretty self explanatory here. Can't really mess up a classic, that is, unless you mess up the rice. Not only did he find a hair on his rice before he took a bite, but halfway into his meal he bit into a stone meaning they don't wash their rice thoroughly.I need to mention a very minor detail that didn't take away from the overall experience, I noticed we were given two halves of a ripped up napkin to use. Is it the end of the world that we weren't given whole napkins? No, of course not. However it just makes me wonder what other corners they may be cutting back on?Maybe my expectations were too high to think that it would be identical to the original location, but at the very least of my expectations is cleaned and well prepared rice. Which is why I give this 2 stars instead of 3 as I initially intended.

Tasty food. Relaxing atmosphere. Good prices.
