The staff was polite. The restaurant accommodated a party of 17. The chefs were interactive. The food was plentiful and delicious.

Vey expensive for what you get. I wanted sushi but was told that they weren't making any that night which was extremely disappointing so I had to order something I really didn't want. The food was good but nothing to rave over. It was very crowded and our reservation was at 7 but we weren't able to get seated until after 8pm. The place closed at 9pm.
I really enjoyed myself here. My daughter took me out for brunch and it was well worth the ride. We were seated immediately. The waitress was very friendly. But our chef he was Amazing?. He had us giggling the entire time. He was very friendly and had a great since of humor. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. I will be going back to celebrate my birthday this weekend with friends. I think this establishment will be my new go to place for fresh cooked Japanese food.
Horrible service and the food was even worse. The steak had so much fat and skin and the soup was literally hot water. Our server didn't even bother coming to check on the table once and then had the audacity to add on a tip on the check. Go to kabu in laurel. So much better. Seriously.

I’m super disappointed in this place that I used to love growing up. I went to pick up my carry out order and the host/Togo guy was super rude and unfriendly when I just simply asked for a receipt that showed the breakdown of my order. I’m in customer service and I can’t stand ignorant people so I specifically told him I’m so sorry, I don’t mean to be a bother and he gave me a nasty look and ignored me and walked away and said he had to help the incoming couple behind me first even though he was in the middle of helping me! I’ve never been treated so terribly at a restaurant before and it’s a shame because I love their food and I’ve never had this problem before. No customer should feel ignored or scared that someone spit in their drink.
Had a great time, the chef was excellent. The food was delicious. There was a bit of a wait which was totally fine for myself and my spouse because they were short staffed. Even while being short staffed the team at this location did an excellent job.
