I Read the reviews online and I felt I should swing past to get something to eat when I walked in there were two Hispanic gentleman behind me other than that the building was empty so I went to the bar to look at the menu as the other two gentlemen look at the menu but the waiter took the other gentleman‘s order first which wasn’t a problem but the waiter went to the back an was gone for about 15 minutes , she came out with their food an I thought she would take my order next but she didn’t she stood at the bar and talked to those guys for about 20 minutes she never came to take my order No did she even look my way , this is horrible and I can’t even say what triggered it I was respectful from the door , I hope all black ppl are not treated this when they eat here but this was my first impression and I will never try their establishment again , I feel absolutely disrespected !!!!!
My wife and I had such a great time here on a late Saturday night after riding the motorcycle all day. The carnitas tacos were authentic and wonderful. The beer was cold and the margaritas were tasty. The service was great. There weren't any people that spoke a lot of English but we all made it work. We danced, we ate we drank and had a blast. A little taste of South America in Ellicott City.
The food is pretty good...after reading a review on the way where a guy that expressed he felt it was scammy that they put 15% tip on carryout with no notice...I agree. The medium sized burrito and two street tacos were good, but not 28.50 good. I've seen places that required a tip for carryout in the middle of COVID, but they had a sign that said so. I liked the food but like the other guy I felt a little used or that the policy is at least presumptuous. I'd advise the owners to put up a well placed sign stating the policy. If people feel used they won't come back...a simple sign can solve that. At least people are put on notice...versus finding out from a reviewer.
Ordered takeout, and they charged me 15% tip for themselves without even asking or mentioning about it. I was going to give tips, so I did not say anything, but still find that lil shady.
Really nice place! Service was exceptional and everything was delicious and fresh.
$70 for 4 entrees. Not their fault, food costs are going up everywhere. Why 3 stars? Ordered take out and they forgot chips and salsa, no tortillas for $21 fajitas, and small portions overall. Best to dine in here, take out is no bueno
This place reminds me of the California street food as it should be. Staff is kind and accommodating. Chris even helped me to the car with the large order. Thanks team for a great meal.
This is my first time here. I stopped in for lunch and decided to get tacos. I thought the tacos were very good. I had the chicken, steak, and pork. I personally like the Asada steak better but they were all good. I’ll come back.
