Wow, the best donut shop in the DMV area for sure! I heard this place was opened a few months ago, and I can't believe I didn't visit sooner! Their mochi donuts and poke are amazing. Also, the store is beautiful and clean, with plenty of spaces to sit and hang out with friends. Definitely coming to try other flavors!

We had just finished a lovely dinner and were looking for some desserts when we saw Over Rice, an old manager at our job left to create this business and the results have been amazing! The store is beautiful and clean, modern with plenty of seating to work on schoolwork or just hangout eating with friends. The doughnuts were amazing! Super easy to share, light and fluffy and flavorful too! Most of our doughnuts which we had planned on sharing with family were eaten on the way home if that tells you about how good their food is! The staff is super nice and welcoming too which made the experience all the better. We will definitely be back!

We were so happy to find a shop that sells these bouncy mochi donuts like we used to enjoy in Japan. ?The owner and staff were so cool. I even got a business tip to get white paper bags and put our logo stamps on them. This will definitely come in handy. Great advice and great donuts.

I have a rule in life that whenever I see a new place selling mochi donuts I have to check it out. I wasn't disappointed! The prices here are super reasonable, especially coming from Boston where the best deals are 3 for $10. At Over Rice you can get 1 for $1.99, 6 for $10.99, and 12 for $21.99. Literally half the price you pay at the establishments in Boston. I was very happy to buy a dozen. The biscoff flavor is 50 cents more (probably because of the cookie crumbles?) so I ended up paying $23 for the bunch. The texture of the donuts is perfect. I had them both at room temperature and slightly warmed up in the microwave, and both were delicious. They didn't feel greasy at all but they still felt substantial, striking a perfect balance in my book. One note is that it's harder to taste the flavors when the donut is warmed up -- the powdered sugar taste dominates over everything else.As for the flavors, the matcha was a bit subtler than I'm used to but still had a matcha flavor, while the taro ube didn't taste like much of anything. The birthday cake had a vanilla flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by the strawberry flavor as I'm used to other strawberry mochi donuts tasting like Nesquick strawberry milk powder. This one tasted more like they used actual strawberry powder or something that rang closer to an authentic strawberry flavor. I didn't taste much of the churro or biscoff donuts but my family preferred the churro.Overall some of the flavors were stronger than others but the aesthetic appeal and delicious textures made these donuts a hit with everyone in the family. I'll definitely be returning when I'm in town!

So the donuts are amazing, I highly recommend them. But the poke bowl was aweful, it actually tasted bad. I do the same combo of ingredients and toppings always and have never had a bowl this bad. I think the problem was that they do not season it well, I only like to have 2 sauces on my bowl, my husband had more and said his bowl was fine but my bowl should have been good.We will be going back for the donuts but I will not be getting poke there again.

First time I visited here I know they have a place in Hawaii but I was glad to see there was one near my home location. The flavors they had today were taro strawberry cheesecake matcha biscoff birthday cake and churro. All in all pretty good I found the matcha flavor a bit strong but they also have poke here so if you're familiar with that very Hawaiian basically they're like mixed seafood bowls.

This place is so cute, and the mochi donuts are killer! Just like Hawaii?. I had a poke salad bowl as well. Liked them both so much I came from DC two days in a row!!

Mochi donuts was amazing! Mochi adds good moist to the texture and sweetness is just right (not so swee like typical American donuts) Great for gift for sure! Poke bowl, it is rare to find the rice is actually moist and not dry and hard like most places. Had great overall experience.

Delicious donuts although a bit pricey. Would give 5 stars if the flavors were a bit more intense. Had strawberry, matcha, black sesame, and Nutella. Only the strawberry was easily detected, easily the best of the bunch.

Delicious food, great Friendly staff !!Donuts amazing
