Matcha time always has great food and the owner and staff are very kind. This was the first time I'd eaten in the restaurant though. Keep in mind that it's a small space so you may need to wait for some diners to finish to find a seat.I got the eel and it was phenomenal. Everyone else was also very happy with their food and ordered a wide variety (udon, onigiri, inari, udon, etc.)Parking was a bit tricky with an event going on, but that's the case for a lot of places in Historic Ellicott City. Highly recommend!
First time trying and Absolutely love this place!!! An amazing little gem just off of Main Street in Historic Downtown Ellicott City.Amazing food, fresh sushi, innovative dishes, ramen that's out of this world. Tea for days and other amazing beverages.Great place for sharing food!!The owner is delightful!!
We were expecting an authentic tea house. It smelled good. My daughter enjoyed the Raman and desserts from the refrigerator. The mint vanilla chi was so good!! And I don’t even like tea. It is pricey but pleasant.
Stopped in to do a bit of IEP writing and stayed for the testing data analysis. Great place with heady authentic tea leaf that can put an educator in a flow state. Strong WiFi too!Thanks again for letting me chill and work for around 2 hours even though you had a busy Saturday crowd. Your sign about time limits by the bathroom was clear and I hope other customers will understand that you have limited indoor seating when it's cold yet good sunny day for walking downtown Ellicott City! I'm looking forward to returning in the spring to relax outside and try more steamed bun flavors with my wife.
I never tire of going here. Been having a rough day so I stopped in for pickup. Everyone who works here is so friendly. And the food is so comforting. Never fails to brighten my mood.
Love the vibe in this place! Food was great! Vegan soy miso ramen and matcha red bean bun were my favorite! Food tastes fresh and authentic. Staff are really friendly and accommodating! Great selection of teas as well.

Cozy authentic Japanese place. The owner is very attentive. My vegan miso ramen was great! One thing I really missed was bok choy. Matcha cheesecake was alright, a little on the dry side

Didn’t look like much from the outside and you have to order at a window. Seating inside is pretty limited so wouldn’t recommend for a large crowd but danggg food was great. Tried a bunch of things that were new to me - and very vegetarian friendly!!
