I read the reviews so I came last Thursday for lunch. I was quite indecisive as I wanted a sandwich but then opted for pizza. I ordered the Go Ask Alice but received the Flash Gordon. I didn't realize it until now after reviewing the menu to provide the name of the pizza to write this review. The Flash Gordon was so dry!!! Goodness gracious. It was not good at all. Other reviewers claim the food is fresh, no it isn't. I will not return.The only plus is they have a outdoor seating.
While visiting Ellicott City as a family, Little Market Cafe was a perfect lunch spot with a five-year-old. Here's why:1) Food: They have salads, sandwiches, ships, flavored lemonade and more! The turkey sandwich with cranberry jam was great! My wife loved the BLT.2) Seating: They have outdoor seating with shade and live music Saturday afternoons.3) Location: It's off Main Street and next to a top-rated ice cream shop.4) Parking: There's a large lot right by it!
This is the best cafe I have ever been to in my life. All the food is so good and fresh. We had the coale miners daughter sandwich and the waffle sandwich and the wings. Even my son enjoyed his grilled cheese he ate the whole thing! This place is wonderful and the outside atmosphere is great! Staff was also very pleasant and welcoming!We will be coming back from now!

Nestled behind the row of shops along Main Street in Ellicott City is a little shopping area on Hamilton Ave. The jewel of this alcove is the Little Market Cafe. I met two friends there for lunch and had a wonderful time sitting in one of the nearby patios while eating. The place was steady-busy, so bank at least a half hour for your lunch break. I had the Raven on sourdough, which is more or less a Reuben, for aficionados (except of course, I did not have it on rye). I was also told that the vegan sandwich was great. I believe it. My sandwich was very fresh and tasted amazing! This place is worth finding and savoring!!
Little Market is the gem of Old Ellicott City. This place is magical and has a great variety of options, including awesome vegan breakfast sandwiches. If you’re looking to try something new or like me, visiting for the 100th time, it won’t disappoint.

Great little cafe with outdoor seating and fire place. To be COVID compliant, they didn't have indoor seating but I appreciated the outdoor seating options they provided. It's tucked away from main street, in this shopping center parking lot but nicely done.
Food was excellent but we waited 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches when there was no line/rush. The staff didn’t seem concerned that we were sitting there waiting, and when we asked about it they didn’t really have an explanation as to why our order hadn’t come up yet. Not sure we’ll return due to the wait time and other reviews about long wait times.
Perfect setting - we love the independent coffee shops and Historic EC is a favorite!
