Probably one of the best restaurants in Columbia. Cannot believe I didn’t know this gem exists after living in the area for 4 years! Delicious food, great dining environment, and super friendly staff.
Three visits since March 2022, we were pleasantly surprised to find some good quality, rich American fare.One visit was at 1:30 on a Saturday, and it was strange that it took so long to get our food considering the lunch rush was over. Also some of our entrees came out cold.Frustrating that I had to tell the waitress I wanted the soup to come out before the entrees. And it was cold!Cream of crab soup had lumps of crab on top and was delicious. Also the kettle potato chips were fresh made very flavorful. Crumbling the chips in the crab soup was amazing.Maryland crab soup was not very good, not as much crab, came out cold and the taste was just okay.My vegetarian wife love that club sandwich in the picture. Had a lot of items on it. It was fresh and tasty.The open face meatloaf decent but a bit bland. The gravy was delicious, so I asked for extra gravy to take care of that. As you can see, it's a big amount of meatloaf and mashed potatoes.Shrimp salad sandwich was pretty meh. Toast was completely cold.Creme brulee was good, strawberries tasty, a little disappointed the creme was not warmer.
We like to go to Patapsco state park for hikes and googled a place to eat near there. I’m so glad this one popped up when we were searching. The atmosphere was beautiful. It was a really nice day so we ate outside. The food was absolutely amazing and there were a lot of different options to choose from! It’s my daughters 17th birthday and Casey our waiter went out of his way to bring my daughter ice cream with a candle and sing her Happy Birthday! Overall a wonderful experience! I only wish I lived closer so we could go more often! My family and I will definitely return. Also my sister said the mule she had from there was the best she has ever had!
I had heard this place was good, but was a bit surprised at the very slow service on Saturday afternoon March 19th between 1-2pm.We were the only party in the restaurant, and our food took a long time to come out, it was cold at that point. We had to ask about our drinks several times. Its like the restaurant and server went on break, but we were still there (waiting on food and service).
Leelynn’s is one out favorite spots for dinner! Their food is always delicious and the severs are very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend the crab cake and the key lime pie!!
Amazing service and food selection. We had the Leelynn Burger and it was very flavorful and juicy. Apple crisp for dessert.
Molly and Collin are excellent waiters. Molly waited on us and gave the best customer service ever. However, Collin realized we were having cream of crab soup (the best in Maryland) and said, did you ever have half and a half? Once we said no, he went to the kitchen and brought us the Maryland crab soup on the house. Molly and Collin were friendly and made sure we had a wonderful dinner during these difficult times. Leelynn's has the best food and the best people working for them. Molly and Collin deserve a raise! I realized how wonderful they were with all the tables. Thank you both for making our night after a stressful day in the medical field.
