Delicious ice cream… only $1.25. Absolutely lovely!!!! Must visit …. One of the best ice creams I have had, and sandwiches looked great too, we didn’t try them though!
Visited Maryland for business and came across this location. Delightfully good sandwiches with fresh ingredients, and piled high with everything you can ask for. A hidden gem and more than worth your time and patronage.Don't be put off by the limited spaces in the front parking lot, there is more parking just behind the building.
Finally tried this place everyone raves about. Truly delicious, super basic sandwiches.I think it's the white bread and real mayo, but also how crisp and fresh the lettuce and tomato are, the extremely thin sliced meat, and the ratio of meat, veg, and bread, which is great.
its hard to get there when its open, but I personally never pass up the opportunity to grab a sandwich that has an unbelievable amount meat for the price. Not you everyday sandwich shop just something special
Maggie makes an incredible brown bag lunch at The Duchess.Very bubbly and kind lady who had great stories while she made my sandwich and coffee/oreo milkshake.While the deli isn't fancy, you can walk away smiling with a $5 lunch and a HoCo newspaper!
Large, cheap and delicious sandwiches. The owner is sweet. Just a heads up though - it is cash only. Grab a few large sandwiches for a fraction of the price of other shops, and leave the sweet lady a few extra dollars.

Step back in time with this hole in the wall, best kept, EC secret! Bring your cash as you wait patiently in line for a nimble lady to handcraft you an enormous sandwich with care and precision. Yes you are going to want the chips, yes you want the milkshake. I don't know what we are going to do when she retires, this establishment is such an important part of EC's legacy.
