Yum! If you want super good hashbrowns, come here! We had the bacon Angus cheeseburger plate and the all-the-way hasbrowns with two eggs, over-medium. The burger was greasy, the hashbrowns were crispy, and the eggs were good and runny (yolks, not whites). They DO have chili normally - it was getting ready - and they DO have steak and pork chops. Just because it isn't on the menu...ASK! It was a little dirty, but 24/7 places are not always the easiest to keep clean. We went in early in the morning, probably shortly after the "drunk rush" so...well, that happens. Totally redeemed tho - the manager, Jess the Mess, was our server. She was AWESOME! So quick and witty and positive!
You can’t call because they said they were not taking orders over the phone. They said they were open and just come in and place your order. 3 people who have driven a long way to stop and eat some waffles, they locked the door while there friends ate and would not even acknowledge us. They were making food and letting there friends eat and not letting us in. After a long drive, that was very rude.
So happy to have found a Waffle House. Didn’t know they existed this far north. These folks have excellent work ethics and are kind & thoughtful. Of course the food was good too. Only 4 stars because my husbands bacon wasn’t very crisp. The hash browns were crisp as requested, we should have asked for bacon to be also. Loved the “show” behind the counter, watching them cook and take care of everything.
Been there three times this week and they always say that they are closed even though people are inside. Why advertise 24 hours when you are clearly not??? Not sit down nor to go.
Food is the kind one eats if you had one too many to drink or something to that effect. Not healthy by any stretch of the imagination.
I had never been to Waffle House but wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It was underwhelming. I went around 11 a.m. and it wasn't busy so it didn't take too long for our food to come. The food just wasn't that good. My waffle was undercooked so I didn't even finish it. The waitress did offer another waffle but I had eaten some of the other food and was just ready to go. I did taste my children's waffles and wasn't impressed with them either. I've had better waffles at home and at other restaurants. The sausage and eggs were the best part of the meal. Customer service from our waitress was good.
How can you go wrong with a three dollar waffle. They definitely need to have more people on staff on the late night since they get crazy rushes. But at 2 AM you can’t go wrong with a waffle from waffle House. Pretty much three dollar crack
Second time I drive there and they were closed even though they claim to be 24 hours. I also drive across town to the other one which was closed as well. They should remove the 24hours from their advertisements and web pages.
Well I never been to a waffle house and this was my first time. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. Jess the mess waited on us and she was very accommodating. I just the the retro look about it. The only bad thing is it could use a little cleaning. Well anyway check it out for yourself. I'll definitely be back.
the food and service is always great. the waffle is much smaller than usual
