I can honestly say their crabs are the best crabs I’ve ever had in my life they were so juicy and hot.. the buffet was ok the fried chicken was great! It was just really hot in there and short staff, my drink was watered down and the tables weren’t as clean as they should have been. I’d give them a 7/10 I hope next time I go back everything is better! Especially because I love eating seafood in a nice cool temperature
This is not a review, just my two cents. I know it’s hard to keep good wait staff/servers in your employment, but for me good service is a game breaker deciding if I come back or not. I went to your restaurant a couple years before Cove hit and as I remember, things were fine. Now, I’m a pretty good cook, I don’t need to go out very often, but when I do I always look for a good experience. If the food is bad, you remember, but if the service is bad, that’s hard not to forget. Everything I’m saying here is well known by everybody, but I feel managers need to be on their game to detect good and bad servers, and if you can’t have good servers eventually you won’t have customers. The food can be fantastic, but when I have to stand up and go find an extra napkin I asked for 10 minutes ago, or extra butter, etc.… You get my point. When things are very busy I think we are all understanding that it’s gonna take a few minutes to get something, but when the room is half full waiting 10 minutes for something is unacceptable. I always start out at 20% gratuity, and when I leave happy, trust me, my server will be happy also. Bottom line, I don’t care how hard it is to get people to work nowadays, you can’t put people in the position where they just don’t belong and expect to make money.
Very good went with my husband. I’m not a crab eater, but he thoroughly enjoyed himself!!! Staff was great as well!! Great way to start the Memorial Day weekend!!
This is a really good place for all you can eat crabs. And the seafood is fresh! I was with a group who had other items from the menu and they all said that the food was delicious. I can't wait until I get back there to try more items on the menu.
1st visit was great. We had about 10 ppl and the server was great! I forgot her name but I believe her mom was the bartender! Good and drinks were great!
First time visiting, decided to come down from Philly for a quick day trip. Only took about an hour or so and NO TOLLS!! No wait, quick seating and service Great. Comfortable, family oriented and welcoming place. We really enjoyed AYCE Crab and at a very good price of about 140 for 2, we could only eat about 3 and a half dozen. They were steaming hot and well seasoned each and everytime they came out,, and did I mention QUICK! OOHH and the shrimp salad from the buffet OMG??!!! Only down side was that the Hot food on the buffet was cold. But hey WHO REALLY CARES?!?! We came for the CRABS?! Definitely a good spot, I maybe making another trip this weekend
I have been to Mick's Crab House several times now. Each time I go, I am disappointed. Last nite was my last visit. The staff was great as they always are. I had large crabs. They were large but didn't seem fresh tasting at all and hardly NO meat. I sat there and picked and had two doz. I was hoping the second batch were better but they were not. I should have said something but didn't. It was 39.99 special with the buffet bar. Chicken was good, thats about it. The people managing the buffet kept coming out turning the food but they apparently weren't cooking any. Hardly no food on the buffet and people were coming in and when they got up there you can see the face they made, Like where is the food.... Waitress added on someone else bill to mine. Had to void that out and rebill the correct amount. Then since in MD, not sure if all across the state, they automatically charge you 18% . Very disappointing. Was hoping they would be better tasting.
Our waitress was Brooke and she was very unpleasant. My step dad had his salad for about 10 minutes before we even got silverware n then we had to ask for some straws no biggie but just adds to the horrible service. My moms food was cold and my wings were hard could barely eat them. We asked for crackers for my twin nephews who are 1 and she never brought them and she ignored my sisters question 2 times n never once had a smile on her face ! Will not be going back to this place after the service we received n spent almost $300 . find better waitresses that know how to actually work n be happy around customers.

Me and my boyfriend was driving by there we were actually on our way to red lobster..so I was like red lobster probably crowded.. let's just try this place..We did and loved it!! The food was really good and at a reasonable price... they were friendly
