Diners are the best because of all the different options they offer. Silver diner has the classic diner food and with an added twist—great vegetarian, Vegan, gluten free and real creative menu items as well. Fresh ingredients and fresh menu ideas makes a great combination. Service on the other hand was slow and inattentive …we were there at 10:30PM and the whole staff was more focused on pickup orders than sitting customers, and there were only four tables seated. It took over 30 minutes to get an omelette and a sandwich, not a very complicated order.
Clean, neat, smells good, calm place to dine in.Super nice waiter Chris. Service was so good.Burgers - so big and good enough for a grown adult and so good.Must try - Brussels sprouts, chunky monkey.
I usually love the Silver Diner but unfortunately this visit left much to be desired. My first chicken noodle soup was cold as if the warmer was not on. Second one came out and it was lukewarm and as you can see so basically the broth than anything else. My ginger ale was basically a cup FULL of ice. Which I had to ask for another one with little ice. When my food came out (Fish and Chips) it was barely lukewarm as well. It wasn't that busy so I'm not sure what happened but the rest of my family's entrees were fine.Good thing is a manager came by and we informed him that the state of my food and QUICKLY apologized and said he would make it right. My replacement entree was quickly brought out and was hot and what I have already come to expect from this wonderful franchise. Began poorly but was quickly rectified.
The burger was good; the fries were not good, but the service was excellent, so it made up for it. Fries at McDonald’s were better. Being from Jersey, we have diners all over, so I will do that; it may not beat our diners. It is suitable for the area.
6/9/22 Came to visit Maryland for a graduation. Ordered the crab cakes and they were great. Cooked to order, full of crab and little filler. Ordered the sweet potato fries and a strawberry lemon drop which was nice. Waitress and staff was very friendly. Would definitely return.
The food is always beautiful and tastes lovely. We had a hiccup twice with our order, but the managers took wonderful care of us. They made things right and had a nice chat.We had the Classic Eggs Benedict, BYO Burger, a Flat Iron Steak, and some Handspun Shakes: Campfire (Think S'mores) and Mocha Cold Brew - best I've ever had.I feel so delighted after enjoying this meal. I totally feel ready for the rest of my day. I can't explain it, but it was energizing. Please note: The menu changes twice a year, so keep that in mind!
Everything is very delicious,Thanks???
All American diner with modern twist to several menu items, including great use of locally produced ingredients, including Amish free range eggs from Pennsylvania homesteads. Waiter Shaun D was very attentive and the food was well cooked and presented on good hot plates. Background music was true 60s and 70s adding to the enjoyment. Highly recommended.
I've been searching long and hard for a place like Mel's from California and this place has a similar feel to it! I ordered their Bay Benedict and my fiance got a BYOB (build your own burger) with sweet potato fries. Food came out pretty quickly and was delicious! We finished our plates completely. The only issue was that our milkshake didn't come out until after my fiance finished his food. Turns out, they didn't have anyone making the milkshakes, so our waiter had to quickly make it himself. Overall, we would definitely be back to try out other items on their expansive menu.
This is a retro 1950's diner concept. Big menu with lots of choices. Veggie choices as well. Service is OK. Great for families or those on a budget. Quick stop just off I-95 South near Columbia , MD.
