They were very over staffed and yet it was very difficult to get anyones attention and that was with us sitting at the bar. When we did interact with staff they were very pleasant. The food was meh. The place is super cute at least. I will recommend it only because Iâm not a dick and this is someoneâs independent business. Definitely not going back.
Something was happening at the bar and in the kitchen. Nothing was coming out in a timely or organized manner. Our server was attentive and eventually a manager did come over but items we had ordered were no longer available. Wrong drinks coming out, one person alone getting food. Very off night for them. Or, at least, I hope it was a one off. This was our first time there and likely wonât be back.
The Hubs and I really like this place. It's fun and casual and the food and cocktails are good. This time, they overcooked the overeasy egg he ordered for his burger (who wants a hard cooked egg on a burger?) but they happily replaced it. I must say, I hate that all their sauces come in little plastic cups. Mutiny, I implore you: please stop using all this plastic and just give us the ketchup or vinegar bottles!
The food was good, even the desserts, but the menu prices on open table are not accurate at all. The food and sodas for 2 adults and one child, along with 3 desserts since the waitress said they were small, wound up costing us $95, and that is with the appetizers being happy hour price. We didnât order expensive dinners, either. If we went back we would skip the appetizers and desserts, because out of everything, those were the most overpriced.
The food here was all right, but only all right. Standard bar fare. Both my dining partner and I got burgers and they were fine. We got nachos for an appetizer and they were fine. What made me give a 4-star instead of a 3-star rating, however, was the service. Our server, Jason, was attentive but not overly so. Great disposition. I would go here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
Always a great place to relax and enjoy incredibly good food, especially the weekend specials.
Every dish was overly salty. The calamari came out in a giant clump that was fried on the outside and uncooked on the inside. And please do not coat the calamari in the sauce, it should be served on the side. Service was good but the food needs a serious upgrade.
Great time as always at Mutiny! The food & drinks were delicious and the atmosphere can't be beat!
When we arrived, hostess seemed to want to put this at a high top even though I had requested a standard table through Open Table. They seemed to have a hard time seating us, even though there were plenty of open tables of all types. Some of our food was very good. Some of our food was just okay. Crab cake specifically could use some improvement. Our waiter was great when he was available, but he was not available very often. Service out of the kitchen and the bar was incredibly slow. No idea why cocktails need to come before a soda. Waiter had to go track down the soda. Fries came out of the kitchen and were eaten long before the soup ever showed up. Not sure why it takes so long to get soup out of the kitchen. We went on a Friday night. It was busy but not packed. Could not figure out why the service overall was so slow. Seems like they had enough waiters and waitresses. Even with all that, I suggest others try it. Maybe we just hit it on a bad night.
Angel thanks for being the bartender. Great service! Loved my mini angus burgers app. And thank you Todd for keeping me company. My daughter won their game!. Highly recommend.
