I worked there for almost a year and all my injuries from the past started to catch up with me and went to doctors and was told not to work anymore. At that point it was my 25th year of working in the Seafood Industry.JJ Mcdonnell was a great place to work and the owner was a great boss and person who was very down to earth because he started at the bottom and worked his way up and I respect him for that. The place is very clean and a good environment to work on. A lot has changed since I left and I wish I could have been there for it. I will always regret that I never could give them 100% because of everything I was dealing with and they understood and worked with me.They have a lot of good people and if you want to work at a great place that is fast paced environment and always busy this is the place I would definitely go back if I could work.

Better delivery driver than any other company who delivers here. Whoever delivered on 6/4/21 around 6, to Rockville Pike 765... I appreciate them.I've got so many dings in my car from parking next to where the easiest loading area is for the seafood restaurant a few doors down from where I work, but darn it all this stranger of a company driver was the first driver in three years that I've seen actually made sure they were being careful opening their door near my car.It really shouldn't be that big of a deal, but it absolutely is when the trend of 'hurried to the inconvenience or detriment of others' vibes are replaced with just a half a second of thoughtfulness. I've never eaten any of the products that come from your truck, but good sir, if it's you delivering them... I would feel confident that they were delivered with more care than the compitition.Sincerely, work is slow and you did a nice thoughtful thing that took a bare half second longer and I freaking appreciate that. Nobody was around to see, I just saw it on the cameras. That stuff matters and I'm all the way here for it!

We ordered a large order of whole lobster at the night before Because one of our custmer order the 60 whole lobster for her graduation party today ! We confirm the order the night before , and we called to confirm the same day delivery , we called and text the sales at 11am , he told us driver is on the way , we called him at 12:30, he said the driver will be here at 1:45pm , at 1:45pm we call the JJ office phone , I was told the order can not sent out today ! They can sent for me tomorrow ! The magement used to be very good , I don’t know what happened ! The upper manger called me again after a 45 mins talk , we realized he is referral to our other location orders , then I realized not only the location I manage scoop up , and other location scoop up !
