In town for a friend's wedding and searched for a fun local spot for lunch. Legal Assets was the perfect pick! The outdoor patio seating with fans and mostly shade was perfect for a relaxing afternoon lunch. (Indoor seating looked great as well.) The drinks and food were delicious! We had the French onion soup, Legal club sandwich, shrimp spring rolls, and Asian beef lettuce wraps. I wish we had room to try more things. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We definitely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the Easton area!
We had an amazing meal starting with salad and Crab Rangoon Shrimp, followed by seafood and short ribs, and creme brulee for dessert. Everything we tasted was delicious. The service was excellent. Can't wait to enjoy a meal in the courtyard in the nice weather!
My wife and I took a quick day trip from DC to check out development on the Eastern Shore to help plan a week's stay in the spring. Lunch at Legal Assets exceeded our high expectations. On a warm-ist Feb. day, we sat outside and enjoyed the scene as well as outstanding, attentive and friendly service. My Chesapeake-raised wife especially loved the fried oysters and her salmon while my kale/Romaine Caesar was remarkably fresh and colorful, and mahi tacos also were delicious. The Bloody Mary and wine were good and the dessert menu very tempting. We definitely will return for dinner, soon.
Josiah was a great server. Delightful and took good care of us. The food was excellent, especially the shrimp spring rolls. The menu has a very nice variety and the bourbon selections are top notch.
Absolutely Fantastic!!!! Professional and attentive staff served us refreshing signature cocktails. The cocktails were followed by appetizers which set the stage for what arrived next, a delightfully delicious, perfectly cooked filet! This restaurant is true asset to the Eastern Shore! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!!!! We plan to be back soon!
Legal Assets has yet to disapprove in half a dozen visits. Seafood chowder a special this evening and terrific. So was the trout, also daily special, truly sublime. We shared a Creme Brule and that was a little tired. Suspect it might have been lying around for a bit. Not even close of a disappointment to keep the evening from five star status though.

From the moment we entered we felt welcomed. Add the pleasant interior and very good food. Best fried oysters I have eaten in many years. Lightly breaded and oh so delicious!
Exceptional dining experience. We did not have reservations so we were seated in the bar area. Everyone was very attentive, friendly, informative, and welcoming. The food, charcuterie board, sandwiches dessert, and drinks, were fantastic.
