My boyfriend and I stopped by Headwaters this past weekend for drinks and lunch. Everything about our visit was wonderful. We sat at the bar and the bartender, Britney, made us the best drinks I’ve had in a while. Between the two of us we had three watermelon crushes and the berry mojito. My boyfriend and I are still talking about the Watermelon Crushes days later! The shrimp tacos and the crab pretzel were equally delightful. Everything from the service to the food was great! We will definitely be adding Headwaters to our list of restaurants we enjoy stopping at when we are in Easton.
Great food and service. We ordered the crab dip, fried catfish, and a simple burger and everything was 10/10 ????
Best fried clams in Maryland! They are hand-breaded and just amazing. It’s my favorite thing to get every time we go there. And the service is awesome too.
My wife and I had lunch at Headwaters yesterday and were totally impressed with the quality and taste of our food, the friendly staff, and the wonderful atmosphere. This is going to be our go to restaurant from now on. If you haven't been there yet please try them. You won't regret it.
Shrimp tacos Crab cake Catfish Soft pretzel topped w/ crab dip Fried green tomatoes Hush puppies It was all delicious & service was top notch. We are so happy we came here!
TWEEKS ROAD TRIP FOOD REVIEW!!So when I go to the coast (where I grew up), I've got to have seafood.Me and my two sons pigged out here. They got the blackened salmon BLT, and fish and tots.. and I had the fish sandwich. But I wanted to sample more, so I also ordered us all the calamari + the seared buffalo salmon bites with spicy Sriacha ginger honey sauce + one crabcake and the cream crab soup. All the food was surprisingly yummy. The calamari was well done, tender and not overdone, but not that surprising, except for the Sriacha/ginger/honey dipping sauce. That rocked! The crab cake was overpriced at $24, but was really good. Not your typical over breaded old bay puck.. it was super chunky, chocked full of meat instead of mostly breading. They forgot to bring out the cream of crab soup I also wanted to sample, but they were rather busy, so I'll let that slide. My son said his salmon BLT was amazing.. and he's now a big seafood fan. My other son's fish and tots were huge chunks of cod were really good... But too much for him to eat.My fish sandwich (also beer battered cod) was one of the best I've ever had (and I grew up on the coast). The fish breading was a little heavy, but the combination of sweet Hawaiian butter grilled buns, red slaw and spicy Sriacha aoli sauce was a perfect match. The flavors were awesome together! I normally slather a fish sandwich in tartar sauce and malt vinegar... But not this one.. I didn't want to change the flavor at all. I think I maybe drizzled a touch of lemon on it.. but it was the star of the night. NOM!Glad we found this place. (See photos of each item we ordered.. except the soup ;)
Great food, great service. I had the cream of crab soup, fried oysters, and grilled tuna sandwich.
No frills really fresh good food and a well stocked bar and nice selection of beer. The service is local and fun and the kitchen crew visible and open to your desire. Mahi mahi tacos fab. Love the place. Great afternoon rendezvous.
The first time I went, I wasn't impressed, but I told myself, "It's new, give them time."This last time will unfortunately be my last time if their offerings remain the same. The fried shrimp were right from Mrs. Paul's (or perhaps Sysco), the hush puppies were crisp and apparently freshly fried, but unfortunately somewhat gummy inside. The accompanying cole slaw was fair. My wife had the rockfish taco special. The fish was off-tasting and the coating under-cooked. The toppings couldn't save the fish underneath, and neither could the frozen tater tots. The service was adequate but the overall experience for $53 after tip.....just disappointing.I hope they get serious about turning out food that will tempt us to return as Easton really DOES need a seafood restaurant. They just need one that's willing to try harder.
