We were staying in Oxford, MD for a couple of nights, and struck out on restaurants there. The only one that was supposedly open wouldn't seat us a full half hour before published closing time. So we scrambled to see where we might find an open restaurant in Easton, and drove to Doc's -- where our experience was the opposite! Despite the fact that Doc's kitchen was in the process of closing, the Doc's hostess cheerfully found us a table right away, and server Avery brought out some great local seafood specialties in record time! We were so grateful for the friendly service and delicious food, and we'd definitely return to Doc's next time we are visiting the Eastern shore.
I have ordered fish and chips all over this country, and I can honestly tell you this was the only time I have ever received only one piece of fish. And it wasnt even that good, it completely fell apart on the plate, and I finished it in about 4 bites, then I just had a plate full of fries and a one ounce plastic cup full of soggy cabbage to look at. Either charge more and give people an actual meal, or at least put it on the appetizer menu (not the main courses menu) to give people a clue so that they wont be disapointed if they order it. If I was the owner of this restaurant, I would be really embarrassed selling this to people, pretty pathetic.
we had a wonderful lunch here today Best grapefruit crush I've had. Fried oysters were perfectly cooked. Rock fish fingers crunchy and so flavourful. The crab dip was so creamy and delicious, but the seafood Mac and cheese was simply AMAZING . We will be returning soon to sample more of your wonderful menue.
Met a friend for lunch. She is a frequent customer, but this was my first experience. She recommended the Cream of Crab, and she was spot on! It was delicious! Had the spinach salad w/warm dressing and added salmon. It was all so wonderful, and such a generous portion, I finished the soup and brought half of my salad home so I could enjoy it again later. Fast, friendly service! Next time I need to take my husband so he can enjoy too!

Very easy to find. There is public parking all around. There is some outside covered seating by the entrance, table seating and a variety area.The menu had plenty to choose from. I got the Bavarian pretzels, which were delicious, especially with the mustard and beer cheese. The turkey melt was very good as well.The staff was very nice, and attentive. I'd definitely visit again.
We had a party of 11 last night and everything was excellent! From the attentive staff, friendly & great server Brianna and good food with reasonable prices. Highly recommend the seafood nachos.

I'd never been to this location before, having patronized the Oxford location multiple times. I live out of state, and miss the Maryland crabs that were a staple of my youth. Whenever I come back to visit family, I have to try to get some crab dip or crab soup. The Oxford location always has exceeded my expectations, so I figured this was a sure thing. Our food was overall very good. My mom's Maryland crab soup was a bit spicier than she would have liked, but that could just be an old lady thing. There was no wait to be seated, which was nice. The service was very slow and the waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed. My family and I used the time to catch up, but we did have some time constraints that we needed to stick to, so by the end we wer3 a bit impatient to leave. Will definitely be back when I'm not in a hurry.
