What happened???? The 2 servers had no clue. I got a bowl of clam chowder, which I always get. There were 2 of us. I got 1 spoon and no oyster crackers- which always come with the soup. Took asking both waitresses to get some stale crackers. Got a burger, very good, which comes with fries - no ketchup brought, and a pickleâ¦.no pickle. Other diner got a turkey clubâ¦.no mayo on it or on side. Had to ask 2 times for ketchup, mayo and pickle. By then almost done lunch. Waitress kept saying I gotcha- but she didnât. Heard a lot of harrumphing - diners shouldnât hear it
Again, it was fantastic. You need to go here for the dinner service. Cuts of meat very fresh as owner is a butcher. The seafood if fresh and the drinks are refreshing. So happy the pandemic didnât claim this awesome place!
Last minute reservation on a Saturday night. Had prime rib.
Food was very good, but took a very long time to be served. Service was great. Only negative was the noise level was very loud especially with a large very loud seated next to us.
Lovely outside dining option. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Good wines, good food. Will definitely return.
We had a great meal and our server was excellent!
The food at Bannings was definitely 5 star with the exception of the starter bread. The rolls were very stale and not warm at all. The bar did not have Rose's lime juice which is a staple among bar service. The biggest complaint I have is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The linen napkins were sloppy (no starch) and pilled all over our black slacks. The table cloth had stains and the cloth wrapping the bread rolls had food stuck to them. The water and wine glasses were overly spotted and the window sills and floors were very dusty/dirty. Despite the comments, we had a very nice meal, but the place could stand to be closed for a day and a thorough cleaning/steaming/laundering performed.
We were attending a wedding in Maryland and had dinner there the night before food and service excellent
I felt bad, there was one young lady being the bartender, waitress and everything! The restaurant was out of chicken, chili and something else, I forget what it was. The food wasn't amazing but it was good. I had a turkey club. I won't be going back there anytime soon.
