2 stars because food was good. If you like your waiter to only ask you once how things were and be very slow, this is the place. At the end, the machine with our order had the wrong one. We asked for the right one, he came with another wrong bill...and yet a third wrong bill. A manager to the rescue....she corrected it but no apologies.... Stay away from OG Columbia!!
We hadn't been to Columbia's restaurant in a while - had done takeout with curbside pickup through pandemic. Went on March 12th - three of us. They don't have enough staff so we sat for 45 minutes for a table while the restaurant was half empty. Got to see Staff in action in Lobby - The 3 people they had as Hostess had the rudest manners. Very cold, blunt, used "Yeah" most of time vs. "Yes Ma'am or Sir". Didn't hear once, Good Afternoon, or How are You. Acted like they were in jail. Woman taking Take Out Orders on Computer Screen was just as bad. Three people who didn't speak English well and didn't understand came in..they walked past Hostess to back as if they were meeting someone. The older Hostess followed them. She literally chased them back up to the Lobby announcing to the whole lobby they had just found a table and sat down. Instead of helping them up front to the Hostess stand and trying to explain, she stood across the lobby and yelled to them to stand there to wait for a table - she was so obviously annoyed. Just before we were seated, a Male Hostess stepped in for his shift, and he appeared to be much better with manners. Once seated, our Waiter told us he was new - I was fine with that. However, he dropped off our Salad with no plates and never came back. I had to get up to find someone and ask for plates. Five more minutes went by before our waiter came, dropped 3 plates and took off again. No breadsticks, no cheese on the salad. Food finally came, and the food was good. Table across from us had a different waitress. She must have taken lessons from the Hostess stand. When her table asked her questons, she'd answer "Yeah". Didn't hear anything curteous from her either. Cannot ask for a check in this restaurant because they have the machines they want you to do yourself. Staff needs a lot of work. We will not be back with any business for a very long time until this restaurant gets its act together. I can only assume that Management is Horrible.
Our visit was good, the waitress Faith was excellent and attentive, the service was quick, we got our salads fresh and soup hot, plain raspberry lemonade I do not recommend it was flavorless, also the bread stick were not spongy/soft, had some crunch/toast flavor to it, I prefer them soft and buttery, chicken Marsala needs more sauce.
For anyone who needs advice about how to start their first day off without a hitch Kelsie was the gold standard! She was extremely nice, and patient when taking our order. If we needed something else she would without even a slight of hesitation grab whatever it was and bring it to the table. Her willingness to go above and beyond was amazing and greatly appreciated! Olive Garden in lucky to have you on the team!!!
Our food came very quickly and we had a very attentive server. The wait time was long (45 min for 2 people) the bar and a lot of tables were closed (my guess is they were low on servers). But that seems normal for post covid. Food was good and staff friendly so will absolutely go back!
We came at around 8:00pm and the host said the wait will be 10 minutes. 30 minutes have passed and we finally get seated. We look around as my family gets seated and there are empty tables everywhere. The wait was a waste of time and we were starving. Not only that our waiter Chloe, seemed to be on something, she talked very slow and couldn't get our order right. She was stumbling over her words. Wouldn't come here again. Food took forever to come out as we were sitting here for an hour waiting. We also ordered steak medium rare. The meat came well done. There was no pink nor blood.
The staff was great, but the food wasn't as good as expected. The Chicken Parmigiano was hard and rubbery. They replaced it, but it wasn't that much better...
Great service waiter was very attentive friendly he paid attention to the drinks kept checking on us loved him this is coming from the mom and daughter with the little boy. Thank you for your outstanding service

When we got to the Olive Garden on Sunday 2/6/2022 at table 22 the service was top-notch. The service was very good. We ordered the Stuffed Ziti Fritta and the Stuff Shells and they were amazing, very nice. Some things we thought you could change is that we ordered the Shrimp Scampi and we thought it was dry. We thought it was tasteless as well as there being no spice at all. So we think in the Shrimp Scampi you could add some sauce and garlic for the spice. We also ordered the Minestrone it was very cold and just like the Shrimp Scampi it had no spice so we think you should add garlic to that as well. So other than that we all had a great night! Thank You!
